when there is a team like roger decoster's ktm team, decisions are made based on what is going to improve the situation so that the rider can achieve better results.

And Ken Roczen immersed himself in the language right after moving here to make sure he learned the language and communicate. He's spent far more time here than his father has and for different purpose.

From what I see of RC these days, he does come across as being ego driven
and after reading the words of Ken's dad, it all seems to make sense. It would be very strange if Ken's dad said those things about RC if they were not true so I assume it is the truth and as you can also read, KR's dad said that RC did not want to take the help of KR's suspension guy nor the help from other sources - I assume because it would make RC look like he does not know how to get the job done in his own team - hence the comment I made about taking the ego out...

Roczen in 2007 was really small, a real kid, on that 450 !
He must have picked up some speed but I think the main difference was his growth so he could handle the bike better.
