This is such great news. As hard as he went down, taking the brunt of both, and slamming down on that off track hard pack, I thought he had a possible broken collarbone, shoulder injury. Hope he's heals soon, and can get back in there.
Just before this race he was saying in the interview, he would love to win the mx championship and graduate with honors.

Yeah, difficult for others to understand. My son (Matt) and I raced dirt karts for a while after racing MX for years. One night, a guy flipped off the track and broke his collarbone, resulting in a 1-2 hour delay. From his experience (only) racing mx, Matt had a difficult time understanding why they even red-flagged the race.

X2... me too.

Good to hear no concussion or shoulder/clavicle injury for him. But if he has a bruised lung, he probably has some really tender/broken ribs to go with it, and those are a bitch to ride with.

He is still banged up and very sore! He may try and come back for Tennessee.
