He broke his knee bone on the last lap of the SX main in NY. Of course he finished, would it have been smarter to walk back to the pits with a broken knee joint or ride. Keep in mind he never crashed, must have smashed in on the bars or something.

Yup, he was shorting (pun?) an inside jump-combo into a turn late in the Main at NJSX and Tickle was jumping the same set and he got into the back of Andrew...Andrew jammed/smacked his leg and broke his knee-cap. Surgery the following week (April 28th?) and he will probably be out until sometime in July? (Maybe I'm being a bit "hopeful"; but. Let's be honest...I'm that way with this guy!)

Funny thing, Andrew took 5th that day and Broc got 6th.

Funny thing II, it's amazing how "Stoked" Andrew was about it being "only" his knee-cap; because, the thought it was an ACL when it 1st happened.

I heard that Short was contemplating retirement during last year's offseason.

I'm wondering if this summer will be a farewell tour for him, or if his encouraging results this year will motivate him to continue for another.

Yeah he broke his kneecap during supercross. I don't think he crashed and they're saying he even finished. None of this has been 'stamped' mind you.

I think I've heard that Andrews testing is one of the keys to Dungeys success on the "new" bike. Shorty is a stud and I'd bet he he gets a nod of respect from just about every rider and manager in the pits. One cool cat.

I talked to his Doctor, Dr Vinny Boom Bots and he told me to keep it quiet but he broke his knee Caps. Seems he owed the Mob on a loan. But you didnt hear that from me!
