KTM probably wouldn't be too upset if Nagal took the title on his white KTM/er, I mean Husky. At least the number 1 plate would still be owned by the parent company.

Realisticly this championship is down to 3 imo , don't count out AC yet , but I tottally count out paulin. , yes he will win more races but , he can just as easy come out the next race and finish 7 th , it s the same as the supercross it was down to 2 after 4 rounds realisticly , this is the first year I ve heard people say 30 and 40 points,, Leeds aren't that big and anything can happen , they can , but normaly don't ,

This has a great chase going down, hopefully it lasts right till the end.

If 222 really has a crack in his hand from the crash then it might be too much for him to come back to the top.
Max looks strong and is my favorite but everyone with more GP insight than I say's it's a question of when not if that he gets hurt.

im going with desalle for this year , had his best moto ever in Valkenswaard and is strong on any circuit ..got all the experience needed , had some bad luck in recent years but it looks like he got it all sorted for this year ....
Last year title contenders van Horebeek and Strijbos are out for this years title ....

Desalle got a 2-2 and 2nd overall in 2012. But podium in Valkenswaard is always a good result for him, as this is a bit his Achilles heel the last years.

With Talavera coming up, I don't see him missing the podium. On the other hand, Nagl is a little better than the rest atm, it seems Paulin has found his form, and Cairoli can't afford any mistakes. And the comeback (probably) of Villopoto and Strijbos, Bobryshev getting better each week, Febvre who's looking for his maiden podium in MXGP, ...

Will be a thrilling GP again.

Reckon Tommy will be gunning for a top 5 in Spain. He'll have had 4-5 weeks back on the bike, and the hardpack surface should suit him. Time to show 'em all what he can do.

In terms of the Championship, it really is wide open. It'd be a brave man to bet against Cairoli even now, but i'd give a slight edge to Desalle at this point.

Just think after years of bad luck, this will be the season when he stays injury free, and his unerring consistency pays off.

Yea. Roczen won the 2015 sx championship before round 3. Early in the season determines the championship worldwide!

Pretty good observation, Tony is not in a panic and is able to produce when he needs too, I agree with the Nagl situation and let's hope he doesn't have his usual issues, Paulin needs to work on his luck, Hope Desalle keeps it on 2 wheels all season and having a healthy Searle, Strijbos and Jeremy back in the mix taking podiums will throw some surprises into the point race. This is the season that will go down as one of the great ones.

Honestly, i did't expect Nagl to be so consistent: he's fast, he's always been fast, but bad luck, injuries and a kind of "mercurialism" kept him out the game for some time. He's obvioulsy in a brilliant shape, but don't expect him to mantain this stamina till the end. He'll fade in a few races i guess, but right now he's probably the fastest of the pack, and his bike is just perfect

Desalle is the bulldog he's always been. He is one of the most unlucky riders ever: has't cairoli get in the way, he could have been at least three times world champion. He's not as fast as some other riders, but he's always there where the action is, he's a fighter and this year he seems to have increased his speed (and therefor his confidence) a notch.

All Febvre needs is a good start and he'll be upfront, battling without any hint of shyness with the grown-ups. he's fast and have nothing to lose and all to prove, which is the best situation a rookie can be stuck in

Paulin is the most unpredictable of the whole pack, but when his mind is clear, he's a real treath for everyone, speedwise

Villopoto is a mystery to me. He's fast, but not how i'd expect him to be. He'll win some motos for sure, but i don't see him motivated enough to battle every week, every race, every moto with the others. i really hope he'll stay one year more

and then there's Cairoli. Major disappointment for me. he doesn't win a gp since last august, which is a never seen before situation for him. Despite all this, he was close to Nagl and just one point below Desalle 'till the last gp. Then the crash, and a cracked hand. Not a big deal, as it seems. But Cairoli is from the Freddy Nietzsche school of thought, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger", and accidents only makes him angryer and more determinated. From now on, he'll be like an uncaged, unleashed beast. Still my favourite one for the championship.

LOL..... I was actually thinking more in line of is the depth in that series that bad? Then I remembered a full gate in that series is like less than 30 riders.
