I read this over on Jayski's Nascar site. What would this mean for Ralph with Supercross being on Fox Sports. No conflict like with Supercross and Outdoors being on two different networks? Just curious.

Evernham and Sheheen join NBC Sports: NBC Sports Group dded three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion crew chief Ray Evernham and seasoned broadcaster Ralph Sheheen to its growing lineup of motorsports experts. Evernham and Sheheen will handle coverage of NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Events on NBCSN. 2015 marks the 30th Anniversary season for the northeast-based NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, which traces its roots back to the very first NASCAR-sanctioned race on the beach and road course at Daytona Beach, Fla. in 1948. Evernham, who began his remarkable career in motorsports working on short track race cars at age 15, will first team with Sheheen to cover the 41st running of the Icebreaker from Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in Thompson, Conn., airing on Saturday, April 18 at 12:30am/et. NASCAR's Whelen Modified Tours, the association's only open-wheeled division, compete at historic short tracks spanning from New Hampshire to North Carolina. The southeast-based NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour was established in 2005 as a sister tour to the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.(NBC Sports)(4-16-2015)

I think Ralph has had his feet in NASCAR commentating for a while now here and there. The races mentioned above are not every weekend like the rest of the NASCAR tour. I don't think anything on the SX side will change.

I love how Roczen said he was getting ready for the outdoors.
Ralph completly ignored that and asked him if he would be ready for the Monster Cup, like he has any idea what injuries he will have...

As an aside, seeing Jason Weigandt as an occasional analyst on NASCAR America on NBC is really cool.

Was just thinking that I have no clue why some people hype and worship SX but when MX rolls around they act like its a foreign object, personally I'd take Southwick and Budds Creek over Vegas

He's not leaving, SX season is about over so He is slated to do Nascar which he has done since the 70's.
Remember him doing the ASA Races back then

If Feld won't even acknowledge that MX exists do you think they would hire the voice of MX?....highly unlikely

Man, I hope it's true. I just don't like listening to his voice and some of the inane things he says.

Emig had to give up doing the MX broadcast because it's on NBC Sports so I'd say Ralph is out of the SX broadcast booth for sure.

Unfortunately with Weege also being hooked up with NBC it doesn't seem as though he'll be able to capitalize on this opportunity.

Remember seeing him in the infield at Toledo speedway during the ASA race, He did a long stint in Auto racing before going to Supercross.

I was looking for the Bob Senneker Interview he did but got hooked on Youtube watching all the ASA races..
Hillbilly probably remembers the now defunct ASA Racing league.

Alan Kulwicki, Mark Martin Rusty Wallace ..ect.all started there....
Sorry didn't mean to get off subject..Smile

Am I the only one that's not annoyed by Ralph? I seriously don't understand how some of you can be so bitter about it.

You do realize that soccer is the most popular sport in the world, right?

He doesn't bother me. Guess I'm just happy having races on live so I don't put that much thought on it. He makes some mistakes but I don't get bothered by it.

I forgot he did not do the outdoors but it sure seems like this would be a conflict between Fox Sports and NBC Sports. I guess we'll see..

Some folks are easily persuaded, They hear one admin or loud mouth here say bad shit about anyone they follow suite to be in the cool crowd.

Sure he fucks up every now and again but every mouth behind the mic has their moments

You do know the when ever he leaves he will be replaced by someone similar to him who has a very broad motorsports background, but is not an expert at motocross. That's what guys like Emig and Langston are for.

By the way, heard Ralph doing some Moto gp road racing from Austin the day after Houston. How many guys on here are knowledgeable enough about road racing to pull that off?
