Time has passed but there was a lot of bad blood between those families during their amateur careers. Not sure how that might work out.

Plus is MCR even planning to race in the US this summer?

Of course there is no factory spot available, whatever ride is out there will be a downgrade. Unless Suzuki still has no one to ride the #7 bike and wants to give him a fill in spot.

Team Tedder has a 450 without a rider due to Weimers injury. Unless Kawi would oppose that arrangement, but Davi has said Monster is still behind him so who knows.
