One thing this thread has illustrated is that everyone has a favorite. And not many agree.

I am with TS and Ing. The 80 Husky was completely sexy. It looked like a serious racing machine. A feeling one gets looking at a good race car up close. Unfortunately the thing is piece of junk. I owned a '78, same basic bike with different airbox/numberplates. A good friend also owned a '78. Both of us would love to have that bike as a coffee table in the living room. Neither of us would want to race one again.
It's hard to have a favorite, there were so many cool bikes through the years.

I was going to post a picture of a blue K1 but didn't find one worthy. That's the bike that started if you me in 1969. Even though I had a MX100 in 74 I have always thought these were best looking of the early minis.

My personal '79 CR125R. Definitely not perfect but I really dig this thing. It's fun to ride too. I don't think you really "get" the older bikes unless you've owned one. I sure didn't!

This one for me also. Was just getting into the sport and was on 80's. Remember drooling over that bike at the shops. Couldn't wait to grow up and get one. Never did lol but that bike brings back lots of memories.

While I pretty much put the 1978-79 CR250 Honda at the top of my list of best looking stock bike of all time(see Doggers bike), this one here always did it for me. Whether the 1976 C model or the 76 X model with the nitrogen forks or even the 1977 YZ100, they were always so sleek looking. What a motocross bike should be.

The first time I ever saw a 1974 CR125 in person was on the back of a trailer rolling into my buddy's driveway. A gift from his dad.

Changed my life.

20 years ago, I thought the '95 CR's were the ugliest bikes on the planet. Then a few years ago, I ended up buying one and I still thought it was ugly. After staring at it in my garage for a few months something weird happened. I walked into the garage one day and suddenly felt that I was looking at the best looking bike of all time.

When I was 15 nothing was cooler than my 95 CR 125, and nothing sucked more than waiting for the snow to melt, ha.



17 years later I think my new white YZ450F is a pretty sweet looking bike in stock form, but not cool enough to keep it stock.

My vote is the 95 CR's for the best looking stock bike of all time IMO (I was born in '83 and loved the late 80's and 90's)
