Pieck will never get any better then he is right now.

Because uptite has had a stick up his ass about Weston since day one. He's said the same things like this two years ago when Weston was fighting in the LCQ races. Now?.....he's posted fastest top 5 Quali times and he still won't give him credit.

Did anyone expect Weston to be as fast as he is right now? Jesus Christ , I talked to Lou a couple weeks ago and he even said Weston is surprising the hell out of him! Proud dad to say the least , as he should be!

I'm guessing Pieck never wins an event. This year or next. Indoors or out. He's had opportunity this year and tosses the anchor. He's been doing respectable, but there's too many guys that have it all together. And if the anchor comes out ten minutes into a SX main, it'll come out in an outdoor moto.

I'll be surprised if he gets on the podium personally.

That said, his performance has been way better than Barcia. Then again, Barcia has been injured and not been racing. Everyone in the mains has been doing better than him.

Maybe the pain from the injuries is slowing him down at the half way point of the race. Fact is nobody but Weston is showing improvement at the pace he has been improving. His improvement rate is not very common and damn near impossible. Name another racer that has conquered the learning curve like Weston has and still is. No ceiling in site at this point for Weston.
Fuck yeah Bobby knows what's up!

Goes back a few years but the only one I can think of is Smets in GP's, fighting against people who were more naturally talented but still managed to claim a couple of titles.

Wow! Looks like a lotta guys are already writing Barcia off. Before you go doing that better ask yourselves this... Who has the most raw speed and aggression of anyone currently signed up for the 450 outdoor series? You have got to put him in the top 5 of that list like him or not. I'm not saying he is gonna win the championship but he sure as hell has a better shot at it than Peick and there is no way Weston will finish the season with more points than Justin,... barring major injury of course.

Bullshit... How you or anybody else for that matter can say anything about Westons potential at this point in time cracks me up. Barcia's a bust in the men's class and it's all because of attitude. Like night and day compared to Weston's.. I could never imagine Peick roosting a track side medical worker after getting smoked fair and square. Can you?

Why all the hate on Barcia again and his past has shown he is worth the investment.

2 - 250 SX titles
11 - 250 SX Wins
3 - 250 MX Wins
2- 450 SX Wins

By my count that's two titles and 16 wins more wins then Peick.
Also Barcia has 57 podiums and Peick has 0.
But compared to his 250 form, on a 450 he hasnt delivered. Raw speed is ok, last time I checked, that didn't give prizes for that.

Does Vital issue out the Magic 8 balls to see the future results that riders have, if so where can I get one?

Barcia's a bust....that's some funny fucking shit right there. ...you bitch that no one can see Weston's potential and then make a statement that a younger racer in the 450f class doesn't have the same future chance in the big boy's class.

than Barcia, what happens to Barcias stock?...I'm assuming Barcia signed for 2 years, so he could make a comeback next year I suppose. I think it would be cool to see him go over there and race the GP's.
I don't see Barcia racing the GP's, RV has shown its a lot harder than most people thought, although it's still very early in the season. I think his stock will be fine, he has shown he can win races, and that's huge to sponsors and teams.

Barcia can't seem to get a start anymore. He used to be money with his starts. I'm not sure what happened. Those are killing him.

Really rooting for him in the nats

I don't see him doing better in the Outdoors then in Supercross honestly. I think he is far more skilled for SX. Allthought i hope he proves me wrong that would be cool. But i am not sold on his fitness especially not with his injuries this year. Last year he scored 1 top 5 overal finish at Budds Creek and his carreer best outdoor result is a 4th overal at the 2013 Utah National.
With that said he does look really good on that Yamaha this year. So who knows if he can get that fitness and injury stuff sorted out we can see him battle for top 5s and work up to podium finishes.
Good thing Barcia has a 2 year deal it is GO time for him. 2014 he missed the bigger part of the outdoors only raced the 1st 2 rounds. (Don't remember what happened to him honestly) and same with SX this year .. i dig his riding style except for the agressive stuff.

I am thinking Peick will do better. Thats my opinion.

What was the year that Barcia was a 250 guy but he rode some 450 nationals, and was doing awesome? He needs to find that speed again, and if he does he can be a serious threat.

I think Weston is the new Junkyard Dog. And I remember Dowdy giving Emig fits during the outdoors one year.

I think Peick beats Barcia in the final points. Peick 5th Barcia 7th according to the magic 8 ball.

I know it's par for the course around here, but come on, you can't call people out on being dumb for any reason whilst using well instead of will (twice); youre instead of you're; tryst instead of tries (lookup tryst by the way) and ignore everything regarding commas, full stops and general coherent english.

I'm not a Barcia fan by any means, not him nor his riding, but he's still done more than WP and has more talent in his right hand. We've got fuck all to compare them directly but what we do know is that Barcia has won and podiumed races against the same guys Weston is racing now. Comparisons for now are moot.

Weston passing Dungey with the nose wheelie was up there with McGrath waiting to pass Emig in front of the mechanics area circa 96 at Binghamton during the 2nd moto.

Epic.
That never happened. MC had both holeshots and won. In the second moto Emig went from 15th to 2nd and then gave an epic podium speech. Just thought I would point that out....
