Merican????? Fuck you source. You are an arrogant shit talking piece of shit. The only thing you are the source of is incessant anit RV and anti USA bullshit.
Anti RV, not really. Just pro GP. RV has progressed at a very quick pace and he has always had the speed and determination. Only one thing to remember " I don't think we are in Kanas, Toto", so that probally disturbs you that there is real Motocross outside the USA and we are just as proud of our World Championship as you are of your AMA National Championship. By applying your knowledge of a AMA series to a GP series while never even setting foot on a GP track can not be productive in a discussion no matter how much bravado and ignorance ( I didn't say stupidity, a whole different concept) and backslapping you throw at the subject it doesn't change the outcome of what is happening on the track. It's all a Motocross game the only differnce is it's now a away game for the USA fanbase and played on our tracks, in our countries, using our rules and having to face the exact same banter you toss our way. When RV excels and proves himself over the whole season he will have my total respect even though I do admire his choice to step up much more than you think. One last thought, RV is without a doubt one of the fastest riders MX has produced, but there is not a place in the point race for the "fastest" rider, only the one that crosses the finish line first be it by a millimeter or a 10 second gap. Let's hope there are many " millimeter " finishes this year as Tony has turned the last couple of years into his personal "Everts" snooze festival season. And to shatter the preconceived image the haters have tried to project on me, I am in fact a 'Merican, born and bred 4th generation California native, former double didgit AMA rider, dual nationality now and still spend most the off season in my Calif home where I am sitting at the moment counting the days to departure and the begining of the real season circus. " May the best man win".

A little early but what does everyone think about Gautier so far? Looking back at his lap times they aren't bad and of course it was only a qualifier. But I have to say I was surprised he didn't climb a little higher during the race. I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation for a rider of his calibre i.e a serious title contender. I'm just cheering for him to be up there with the top guys where he belongs - certainly not meant as a criticism. I wonder if he picked up an injury from the collision in Thailand. His starts are also crap, I don't think Iv'e seen him up front in any of the races yet, including qualifiers.
Yeah I agree I thought he would be closer to the top four... he said he made a couple of mistakes but likes the track and is confident for tomorrow.

Okay, lol

I don't know if this is true but it doesn't matter. RV going to race Cairoli is the biggest thing since sliced bread. Good luck to your series, the GP's and it will be fun to watch.

Times had change a lot since that time scottie. My father use to race speeway at national level that time and the organization pay fee to the pilots. Today to race at any competition of any level here in Argentina you must pay fee and also they charge with the ticket entry like if you where anyother spectator. Theres a long history about why theres not a Argentinian top rider. There are some guys who has talent and future but they will never reach the level of a MXGP or AMA because this country will not allowed. As my fellow country man said the bikes cost a lot starting in 15,000 us dollars, also is harder here to get 15,000 than in the US. Also the problem is the lack of support from the riders association and the country in general. The tracks down here are BMX track. This track you see now is made speceally for the MXGP, theres no track with waves other than this in Argentina. You will never see a triple or a quad like the Pala MX track or Red Bud and thats other key factor to improve the general level of the riders. And to be really honest with you must of the people of MX this days here in Argentina are rich people, they only are there for the picture and tell to their friends "Watchme race motocross" so is a show more than a passion. For sure there good riders but like you see they are 10 seconds from the top. Like Aryton Senna said in the late 80s "to race here you have to have 2 things: 1- money and 2-talent. If you lack any of one will never get to the top".
BTW I'm only 29 but i remember your brother and people from that here still remembers him!
PS: Sorry for horrible English

Cheers

He is no less annoying than some of our American chest beaters, actually is usually more funny and witty.

No difference if he is American, expat, or dual-citizen, he can have an opinion about AMA v GP.

If he goes, then so should some other posters.
