Got a real motocross track right there.

Just watched it on mavtv and what a beautiful place.

Staights without jumps,several.

Nice,and the racing was awsome.

That's my local track, we're pretty lucky here. It's open 5 days a week from noon till dusk and an annual pass is very modestly priced.

I watched that last night too. Where were all the people at that race? Looks like we get a better turn-out at our local races.

Has the ground thawed out? Are you riding yet?

Yup Whispering Pines opened last Saturday, rode there some on Saturday and it was in excellent condition. We've been riding at Popkum for the past month until the weather got wet down there again.

Odd question. We go to BC all the time. Isnt Kamloops and Kelowna both real low elev around 1500 feet and it doesnt get too cold there at nights(20s F) or so average in dead of winter?

Both are real dry too in comparison to the coast as well right? Not much snow or rain?

It's a similar climate to Spokane, WA. Kamloops is further north than Kelowna and closer to backside of the coastal mountain range, so it's less desert like.

Yes, Kelowna has a slightly shorter winter than Kamloops. The tracks are closed generally from November until March, depending on weather of course. Both are pretty close to 1000ft and yes, much dryer than the coast.

It can hit -40 here but not very often, I think the coldest we saw this winter was around -10F.

Super fun track , raced there lots, not good when it is 100 degs out, hard to keep the water in the sand. Probably the best track in bc (I think)

I always really enjoyed pemberton as well, similar to Kamloops but more elevation change. And damn cool spot.

Everyone should try and make it out to the track on the 11th and 12th for the first round of the future west series!
