Fresh track and it looks like a soft sand surface. underneath? I agree with CMore that it could develop into a Lommel/Leirop type track. Too many unknowns but with that scenario I would envision a Paulin, Nagl, Tony, deDyker, Desalle podium fight with Jeffery standing above Ferrandis and Lieber on the MX2 podium

RV 1, 222 5th in first moto. RV and 222 start together in the front of the second and have a war for 30 minutes. RV 1-1. 222 5-2. Herlings is an animal.

I agree.... I don't think anyone realizes how sandy this track truly is. By looking at the photos, It's going to get like Lommel almost.
They were all working on sand in the week...

Probably some sand training for Valkenswaard. I never believe this track will get as heavy as Lommel or Lierop. Maybe the same as Valkenswaard or some other Dutch tracks where they were training last week.

Your wrong every time lol. Last time you had RV 6-10th with no shot at top 5. Don't quite your day job
3/25/2015 12:42pm
Could go any way of course, but just for fun...

1. Cairoli with a 2 - 1
2. Villopoto with a 1 - 2
3. Desalle with a 3 - 3
4. Paulin ......
5. Nagl .....

Also pretty impressed so far this year with Romain Febvre.

Actually, even though its sand I think RV will do really well. Not as good as if were intermediate dirt, but he might take the overall again. I know you hate to hear this, but RV will continue to get better each round.

No doubt he will adapt to becoming a top teir GP rider as he is one of the top riders in MX and he didn't earn that status by being ignorant. As for sand, he may have some competetive moments and good lap times but the start to finish balls out attitude will drain him of energy plus he seems to still be fighting the track and taking a beating to maintain a pace the experienced riders can maintain without expending the energy. GP riders pace themselves through the whole weekend which RV will soon become accustomed too. If he gets paid enough to compete next season in the GP's he will a experienced rider without the pressure and a force to be dealt with for sure.

Even though you're some what a troll, thats all valid points. Lol, I do believe because RV has not raced in so long, he didn't come into the season in as good of shape as the others. This showed in both of his second motos so far this season. And, a deep rough sand track takes even more fitness than usual.

I believe RV has seen the error of his ways thus far. Knowing how much of a competitor he is, he will push himself harder then ever to come back strong. Can't wait for this weekend!!!

Just looking at those photos I am extremely impressed. The track looks excellent, and you can tell they have put serious work and effort into not only the track, but the facilities too. Like the wash area, the sprinkler system, a tunnel and a bridge. It really looks awesome, and it's great to see so many local riders entered too. I hope the weather stays good and they have an amazing GP, they deserve it. Looks like a beautiful part of the world too

Great shots, really excited for the track and this weekend. Difficult to say how it'll develop (how deep it is) but it's definitely going to rut up nicely.
