That track was a total piece of shit. For a world championship? Embarrassing. Imagine having to travel that distance to pull up to the venue and look out to see that.

I actually did think some of the jumps were sketchy. Then again, I think some of the SX jumps are sketchy. And I think Arenacross is sketchy as all get out. But they say, "go big or go home." I would not be going big on those tracks, so I would be going home.

The track was a complete piece of shit and had no business holding a GP, but for Lupino to make those comments about RV he's falls in the same category as I stated about the track.

i will definitely agree that track was a turd. so far the MXGP's are 0-2 in track quality.

It was a shitty track. And often those obstacles become extra sketchy when the track is so crappy.

It didn't look like a very fun place to ride. I'm glad American amateur tracks are all pussified with the prep and the water and all! Keeps my tires fresh longer!

I don't find large jumps dangerous at all. It's the marbly cross rutted stuff that gets people hurt ime.

After watching the first two GPs and how crappy the tracks are and just the whole feel of the races its no wonder we think the GPs are a second rate bush league series. Too bad because with all the extra press they are getting because RV is racing you would think they would have their shit together so they could showcase the series but all they have done so far is show why so many GP riders come to race in the USA Blush

To be fair to the GPs they have way better tracks than that. The 4th race is in Italy. Forget best track, it's one of the most beautiful place on Earth and the crowd is insane.

They must rely on TV coverage to make money that's for sure, because they sure aren't making it on ticket sales in those countries. I get that those Sheikhs in Quatar "buy the race" but how does a track owner in Thailand make any money.

my point is there's no way they're relying on TV coverage to make money because the quality is very poor. like, girl's public high-school softball on ESPN kind of quality.

that said i'm very happy i have some way to follow the series as i'm too big of a cheap ass to pay for the streaming content.

Is it just me, or does Malin NEVER reference that RV is a five time US motocross champion? From what I've seen so far I've only heard him make reference to RV regarding Supercross? Just thought it strange.
