Still a few days out but forecast is showing wetness Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Daytona Weather

With that said, who's the sloppy track guru's of the current SX and SX Lites field? Do you guys think the KTM guys will be equally dominant in the wet?

Some throw backs to some wet Daytona races:

and of course

If it gets nasty the moto gods owe Reedy one for 08... that was pretty fucking cruel.

The moto gods took it away from him for a reason. He wouldn't have won even if he crossed the line first, he was docked quite a bit by the AMA because he cut the track so many times and attempted a pass on KW while cutting a corner.

Re-watch the race, Reed got what he deserved that night.

I'm a little more concerned about the endurocross race. I have no idea how anyone could make it around one of those tracks in the rain!

I'll be there too, and a mudder is fine as long as the rain is over and done with.

I don't enjoy mudders at all, but it could rattle the championship points a bit, so that would be kinda good.

I believe it is indoors... I may be wrong but I swear I was told it's at the ocean center.

I don't know man, this little bit of rain and warm weather hasn't had me wanting to hang outside more then necessary. It has been humid and muggy as hell around TB.

Didn't Canard win the 08 mud race on a 250?

Star should let Aaron Plessinger race the 450 class if it's a mudder . . .

If it is a mudder I expect Dungey and Roczen to be up there, and Musquin in the 250's. It's all about staying smooth with good throttle control, all three of them are are excellent at that.

That looks interesting ! Wonder what Oakley will come up with if it's a mudder after seeing that anti fog system.

Seems like some of the larger, stronger guys would do well. Peick maybe? I would guess 25lbs of additional weight wouldn't affect him as much as someone like Baggett.

Baggett is picking up steam - he'll be fantastic there, rain or no.

I like Reed, but to me, he never finished that race. To finish you must cross the finish line. I think K Dub got robbed of the title that night ...
