Not buying it. Villopoto is on a top team and Villopoto knows how to set up a bike. He's had to set up his bike in a very short amount of time his entire career. Make all the excuses you want to. Villopoto just got beat because of the different format he's acclimating to, some rust, and he's not in race shape yet. If this is his results at round 3 or 4, then Villopoto needs to worry.
A Kawasaki factory bike won last year at Qatar, Captain America rides on a Kawasaki factory bike, not much changed in one year at Qatar except the rider on the Kawasaki factory bike.Did the suspension log from last year or the year before get lost at Kawasaki? If so then Captain America has some serious issues arising this year. Possible excuse #1, RV rides a completely different style, answer: RV's style doesn't apply to the GPs, lower top 10 finishes are not Championship material. Possible excuse #2. RV was not ready, answer: GP Champions make it their job to be ready. Possible excuse #3, give him a break, it was his first race, answer: There were multiple races available to compete against the GP riders during preseason. Conclusion: Captain America got schooled in the premier series of Motocross and has a very steep learning curve to tackle at the expense of a ever widening point gap between him and the Big Boys who know their occupation well.

I just read that NOTHINGS CHANGED since last year other than RV riding the KRT Kawi.
Good to know; because, I thought there were a TON of other changes...

So, it must all be just Ryan.

Got it.

To do what? Put new graphics on? Change the grips? Polish the frame? I don't think that would change anything to RV's set up. You guys need to stop believing that the mechanics set up the bikes. They know stuff but they have no idea how to make an EFI curve or a fork valving. The guys you never see and behind the scenes do that stuff. Factory mechanics, most of them, don't open an engine, a shock, a set of forks and don't use Excel to come up with EFI set up. You gotta freaking wake up at one point, guys...

So I concede he may have been a impressive in US Supercross, and at Bercy (was that a race in some ones backyard with nobodies racing )

He isn't a GP legend and the GP tracks have changed in the last 5 years

He doesn't have a real title, he could not even hold a job as a team manager, so he is a never was.

He is not qualified, period!

I loved DV back in his era, even still have the 'Cobra' sticker on my esky, he was an animal on a 250 2 stroke

LittleBoyintheCorner - Please don't post anymore of your opinions, they are moronic and bring our country into disrespect, like I have said some dumb stuff but nothing can compare to the dumbness of your comments

I think it's quite amusing that, dare I say it, the worth of a person is valued by his accomplishments. That's as childish as it gets. Last time I heard everybody is created equal. All this anti-this anti-that mentality on here ruins the sometimes quality content. It's an absolute mistery to me why people get so butthurt at all. We're talking about a hobby of ours here! I don't know about others, but whatever happens in motocross or on vital doesn't change my life one bit. If it does yours, you most likely don't understand what's really important in life.

Yes I may run off at the mouth, sometimes......Although I should be able to voice my opinion, you communist bastards.

I am just as qualified as DV to give general opinions, bike set up opinions, no, so I don't, and neither should he, I felt that he was after one last 15 minutes of fame, that's my opinion!

BTW, I did also genuinely thanked him for coming on Vital and elaborating on his conversation with RV.,

DV, you are welcome for the laugh, after all I laughed at your comments.

Ummm, actually I'd have to disagree as to whether or not you're qualified to give general opinions. If your peers on this site say otherwise, then it's a big no. Future is not looking too good for you there fella.

#4) RV used a set-up closer to what he's used in the past, vs. adapt to last years factory settings. - This would be more inline with DV & RV's comments.
