I thought with Stewart's penalty we'd seen the last of the perfect season threads here but obviously not.

EDIT You can't win a championship in one race but you can lose a championship in one race. RV is fine and it is a long season. I said from the beginning RV can and might actually win MXGP world title but it would be a battle and he wouldn't walk all over the competition.

My Thailand prediction is unless RV is injured he will be on the podium and standing on the top of the podium by the Italian or Dutch GP. My other prediction (and I will put my life on this one0 and this will be a season the sport will never forget regardless if RV wins or not. I'm happy for RV all of the first race hullaboo is out of the way and now he can get down "to bidness"

MC is MC. The GOAT is the GOAT but only one racer manned up and went across the pond to take on the biggest challenge of his life when he could have just put it on cruise. DeCoster is and will always be The Man but RV might have become The Racer as no one represents (at this point in time to me) more of what a hard core MX racer looks like than RV.
