He's out of control
He can't do it for 35 minutes
If Herlings was in MX1....
AC is way smoother
That's not a proper sand track
Thorpe lost his brakes at '86 MXDN

I always thought his riding style looked out of control but he's made a damn good path for himself with that style. The dude can save a lot of sketchy situations.

I remember one year at Pala he was hammering through those big rollers and one hand slipped off the bars for a sec Didn't miss a beat.

I have never been on a track like that, but I have gone through whoops and dropped the front wheel, felt the bars leave my hands and then snap right back. I was shocked haha. Before I could even think about the fact that I almost endoed I was at the end of the section.

Stewart would have quinted that whole section.

Do it once...or twice, and you are a world caliber motocross rider. RV is that.

Do it for 35-min...over the course of a season, with the worlds best on your ass, and you are a world champion. Yet to be seen.

Too bad Bubba isn't going over. We would have a guaranteed world champion. He's fast in the hoops, I even saw it on his Instagram!

His hand was blown off the bars after oj'ing a pretty big jump. While incredibly impressive that he didn't crash, he wasn't in the rollers when it happened.

Heck, if my hand had blown off the bars after OJ'ing a jump at RV speed...I wouldn't clearly remember it, or my name, or what state I was in, or who the president was, or how many fingers you were holding up, or where my ass was...for a year!

When he goes over there and gets beat at some races, especially sand races you guys know that egging these guys is gonna make it impossible for those of us that like to come here right. Just let it happen ever how it's going to.

To be honest it didn't look that fast to me. Anyone got a comparison of the actual sand masters doing that same section?

I expect RV, if he gets a good start to be able to run a third place pace. I mean Barcia did it so RV should be capable of that and probably not much more than that. He will win this title (if he does) at tracks that aren't deep sand. Do I wish I was wrong? Yes I do!! I have been an RV fan since he beat Townly for the title. So I'm praying he wears them out over there but I'm not sure he will in the sand anyway. just my 2 cents.

I would not allow my child to walk next to a track like that.

It could be Rattrays daughter.

(edit: before anyone comes along to tell me I hate America, I'm talking about the child at the end of the video)

All I know is I can't wait to see what happens. I think RV knew exactly what he was getting himself into and he's not going to be unprepared one bit but it's definitely tough to imagine beating a guy like AC in his home territory. He won't go down without a huge fight.

I don't particularly care who wins over there. I'm just a fan of seeing our fastest against Europe's fastest.

I vaguely remember that one. I also remember a pass he put on Barcia in a corner at Millville maybe in 2011 or 2012. I have no clue how the berm held up because he hit that thing with some force.

YOu said that shit right. Most of us normal guys would have whiskey throttled off that berm. I know he has faith in his skills but how could he have know that berm was going to hold up to what he was about to hit it with? That is the SINGLE best pass I have seen in my 11-12 years of mx racing and I have not missed a single mx or supercross race since 05!!
