I dont think anyone is worried about RV , they are just doing their own thing as always, and until the gate drops , it doesnt matter.

One thing that came out during the podium interviews today at Hawkstone is that until you race , you have no idea how well your testing is really going...

RV could run away with it. Or he could get 6th. Or Coldenhoff could blitz everyone. Or JVH. Or who knows?

Can't wait. I haven't said that about the GPs for a long time.
Was impressed with Coldenhoff today, i had heard he was good on the 450 (but couldn't possibly say how or why or when or who told me) , he had good speed, looked comfortable , and i think Desalle and Stribos proper wanted the money and the Georges Jobe trophy today .. the Superfinal was worthy of the man.

And you made up your statement about the team testing at the same track as RV a few days before

Hey, I have a quick question about the MXLIFE online subscription, I don't need to make a new thread. Does anyone know if the race is temporarily archived? For example, I can't watch it live because I'll be working, but can I watch it 12 hours later? Just curious Cool
They're archived pretty much immediately, you can watch it from say,20 minutes later or 12 hours later, and over and over again,I recently watched a load of the 2011 season back

As I stated before....
If a team was actually there a few days before RV then chances are it would have been fairly common knowledge. I get that you don't want to say who told you this, but by not saying which team was there makes me believe it is a made up story. If it really did happen then why wouldn't you just name the team? Was it a super secret test?

You may be totally right, but without any other info it just looks like total bullshit.

I heard it was the HSF logistics EMX250 team.

Rv was only a couple of seconds off Micha Boy DeWaal

Im sure the Buildbase Honda team were practicing at Alghero on the same day as Kawasaki, it would be interesting to know how RVs times compared to Gert Krestinovs.

But nothing really matters at this stage i guess.

I saw that too. Couldn't work out if they were there on the same day or the day after. Either way be interesting to know, Krestinov is a good sand rider

He's not as good as he was then though is he. He was soundly beaten by Dungey, Baggett and Barcia at Lommel in 2012 and (just checked) had only a 12th and a 15th there last year.

Im not sure he was all that great back then tbh. I know he won a GP but if memory serves me right it was a pretty mental one. He finished something like 9th in the first race and then in the second race all the front runners got wiped out at the start and he managed to hold on for the win

Just looked at the results actually:
1. Krestinov (8-1) 38
2. Goncalves (3-4) 38
3. Searle (2-6) 37
4. Rattray (1-10) 36
5. V Horebeek (6-3) 35
6. Roelants (4-5) 34

Most of the time we're mute and just acknowledge each other with the odd grunt, or a nod.

Cant beat great racing .. hopefully when you see a sand GP you appreciate it a little more.

AMA tracks have become a bit 'samey' over the last few years , even Unadilla has lost its charm for me.. not the same with no grass.

Us fans don't have control over the tracks here.. we do have Red Bud, GH, and the new track looks good. I'm totally into the GP's this year, too bad they don't run Namur anymore.

Like an abundance did after Lommel? I very much doubt it

Main difference being we rarely brag about who's gonna wipe the floor and make threads about it.So much crow went uneaten back then

the last 3 des nations at lommel, teusechental, kegums- all the same story

be great to see RV racing gps- I think the mx1 class will be the best racing anywhere next year the class is stacked

I will agree though, some people on here are going to look very stupid (even more so than normal) when the championship starts...

personally I think rv would be better doing one or 2 pre season internationals to prepare for the season, seems to work for his competitors. Im sure he knows what hes doing though and will come out swinging in quatar
