Should be a good it everyone stays healthy
Having already clinched the 2007 MX2 title, Antonio Cairoli tried his hand at racing a 450 for the first time at the British GP and ended up winning the MX1 class. I don't think Villopoto will find the transition that difficult either and he's a better rider than most of the 'open' class field in my opinion.
Both RC and Stewart stepped up a class to compete against established winners - Villopoto will be stepping up against a fairly level playing field in that respect as Stewart is not racing.
but im rooting for 800, and i think he will win.
it will be a great battle, to finally see him and all his rivals (villo & tedesco) finally in the same class. hopefully they are all healthy throughout the series and can put on a show.
throw ferry, millsaps, and townley in the mix and it should be a 6 way battle IF everyone is healthy.
if only it was just one championship. sx only gets people hurt in prep for the real title.
