Who do you think will win the 2009 nationals if bubba isn't there?
Personally I think Townley will battle with Alessi.
I think Ferry, Short and Villopoto will be close behind and then Cooper, Byrne, Millsaps ect.

I think Mike Alessi will smoke em all. He's has a year more under his belt and he is a year wiser. As long as in jury isn't a factor he wins the whole kit kat and kaboodle. I'll put money on that.

Viilopoto will have Mikey "lookin back". It will be great racing for sure. Mike was always a better big bike rider back in the amateur days with Mike on a 450 and Ryan riding a dated 250 two smoker

I think Mikey will be the one to beat, with Villo and Townley right there week in and week out....it will be a battle until the end. Dont count out Short either...I think he can step up the pace this year. IT when healthy can run up in the top 5 mix also.

Should be a good it everyone stays healthy

Bubba will win the indoor title if he stays healthy, if not, I'll give it to Villo who will win the outdoor title. Yes, I think Villo will beat Reed indoors.

i think townleys gonna take it. if reed does race it im not expecting him to get top 3 and im judging that by what i saw at donington park. villopoto for 2nd and alessi 3rd

but im rooting for 800, and i think he will win.

it will be a great battle, to finally see him and all his rivals (villo & tedesco) finally in the same class. hopefully they are all healthy throughout the series and can put on a show.

throw ferry, millsaps, and townley in the mix and it should be a 6 way battle IF everyone is healthy.

if only it was just one championship. sx only gets people hurt in prep for the real title.

RV is going to dominate next summer . His game is dialed in , a quik learner , does not hit the ground alot and only is going to get faster . I wish Stewart was riding all the Nationals and hope he will .

whoever wins the title wont win by much. i predict quite a few winners for the outdoors. alessi, villo, short, townley, and hepler will all stand on the top step at some point during the outdoors. its going to be a good battle for the championship all year long.

He won a couple of supercross races in his first season in 2005-- and had he not gotten hurt at the start of the season he would have easily been a title contender because he was beating both Reed and RC on speed.

you guys are all talking about next years motocross champion, but who do you feel will be next years privateer hero/heros? I think the breakout rides are the best thing to watch in the 450 class as of recently.
