Why is my FMF megabomb turning blue?

Just put a fmf megabomb header on my crf250r and it turned blue after one ride. Why is this?

On some exhausts, the location of the discoloration can indicate either a lean or rich running condition, however, I'm pretty sure it's just a normal characteristic of Titanium.

These expansion chambers on 4 strokes... Looks like they are trying to mimic something... Something that has... two less strokes...

Good lord! Just look at the pure " Trickness " of that picture! The coated cases , dual adjustment clickers on the shock , CF frame guards , little washers and blinged out aluminum pieces ,ect.....Nice!

personally, id pay extra to have it look that way..something so beautiful about that discoloration

probably has something to do with my infatuation with case hardened firearms, but i digress

Love the easy-access spark plug, gold too. I have to remove my seat, tank, gas line & can barley get a swivel socket in there!! Dizzy

i do believe that gold wrench end piece is a coolant temp sensor. plug is behind it.

It changes to match the color of your powerband. Be glad you got blue and not pink.

Not that its on point, but I borrowed my buddies road bike and brought it back with a blue header pipe and he yelled at me for riding with the choke on before it warmed up fully.

bluing will be least of your problems when header starts doing the death rattle inside the muffler can!
