Everyone is attacking the OP in this one. why Is Chad allowed to say whatever he wants(Nothing is ever his fault)? After it became cool to become a Chad Reed fan a few years ago, it has become taboo to say anything bad about him. I'm not saying he's done, he probably; has some descent races left in him; but I also believe his time has come and gone. This is the changing of the guard and it's time for the Roczen/ Tomac show.

That's always my argument with Reed. He brings this crap on himself. You don't see 7-15th guys talking shit all over social media. You don't hear Brayton and Weimer blaming their bikes for their mid pack finishes. I'm so sick of Reed being a cocky ass and not being able to back it up. That might be why sx online left him out of the #whosnext. Of course he had to cry about it to get including. There is nothing wrong with midpack finishes he just needs to own it and lose the cocky bs and the excuses. He had some super secret bike troubles last week and got 10th now this week Brayton RUINED his race lol. I guess he should have just pulled over and let him be. Bottom line the 22 and his fan boys will always find an excuse
No excuses needed for 43 wins and 2 titles.
List the riders who have done more, and you'll have an idea who Reed is.

Meh, I thought Reedy looked pretty good. His speed looked good, just his start was off. No worries, Chad will get it on top of the box and the bandwagon will fill back up.

You really need to take that 12 inch pole out of ur ass, stop being so uptight. Understand a joke and move on. it's funny, you have no power to tell me im getting clicked for a joke you did not understand. The guys with the power won't warn me and i wont argue with them when or if they do.

Last year, A2, Brayton said he was hanging with Reed, but complained he got jacked by RV, while Reed gets jacked by RD yet goes on to catch all in front and pass and gap JS for the win.
Reed is honest when he's unhappy with the bike, and is repeatedly critical of his riding, which you cherry picking haters choose to omit.
I know it's frustrating that he's one of the greats( even a young RV was a fan) but don't worry, he won't race forever.

I have been a fan of Reed since he was 15. I have never once counted him out. Not once. His heat race was encouraging. However I think the dream is over Sad I am watching the race via the discount tyre list watching Reed's battle in 10th. It sucks.

In saying all that. I truly believe the only reason he stayed relevant for so long is that CR JS and RC were so much better in talent. I don't believe the talent pool has risen that much. Just some pheonom riders are old and retired now. Those guys would lap everyone.

I know that is an unpopular belief. But watch some old races. Maybe its not talent and it is the 450's are limited on the tracks they ride. I don't know.

Can we please have better tracks...... A1 was a joke. Round 2 looked fun but not for racing. Bowl turns that don't get 1 rut. Multiple option rhythms. Big whoops without a single into them to slow the riders down.

Let us know when a Canadian racer does something ey!

One question though, is it counted as a circle jerk when you and bish153 get together to jerk off because a rider gets 10th place in the premier supercross series in the world or to you find a couple more Reed haters first?

He has always said once he feels he cannot contend for race wins and championships he will hang it up, he always has started slowly and built as the season progresses... Still think he has got enough for some podiums and wins, so does he or he wouldn't be out there every Saturday night. We will all know if it's curtains by mid May I guess

What makes you say those two, are riding faster than RV & JS7? I love when people say shit like this! BTW, whats all the hype with KR? Dude is fast but he aint running off and hiding? Last week he was not that far ahead of Anderson. He took an ass beating by Tomac that's for damn sure!
Ya how do you compare? I think if you took 2007 Bubba and put him out there he would wax ass. But that's neither here nor there. Every season it's the same thing. Last outdoors the beginning of the season everyone was saying, "Even if RV was racing, Roczen would beat him!" Gimme a break, I used to not like RV but he's so fucking bad I came to appreciate him and never bet against him. Agree with Tomac being the one to watch, too. Dude is jus figuring things out still and the gaps are only gonna get bigger as things click and he gains confidence.

I think 2007 James was ridiculous. RC beat him the year before by being just fast enough to always have that championship pressure on him, always, he couldn't falter. But who knows if that happens in 07, James seemed like he couldn't fuck up that year, and when he did it wasn't an issue. Comp wasn't as deep, but he was better than he had been or has been since that year.

Sometimes I think for Reed it takes a big change (or challenge) for him to fire, he went to a privateer honda and spanked a lot of factory riders, he went to Kawasaki and had a great start until injury ruled him out (kind of liek what happened on the Honda but other 'things' were apparently the reason)...i wonder if he moved to another brand next year then he would get results again?

I don't mind the symmetry of him being back on Kawi, like 01. Seems happy on the bike, and just watched the heat, he looked good once he got a bit aggressive and more animated. He'll come around.

I know one thing....450's suck for supercross! Too much power for such tight racing i wish they would do something about that ...I'm sure just about everyone will disagree but they just look like they're barely being used power wise ....

If you look at a dyno sheet they aren't making any more then a 2502stroke. In some of the tighter sections last night even the 450s were struggling. Like that little switchback section with the tight triple.

and you could argue that other parts of the track suited the 450's and not the 250 2smokes....so yeah but overall the 450's are faster would be my view

He did look good in that heat and moved forward, I think it might have been a different race if he could have made the first attempt to pass Brayton stick.

It must have been frustrating running it on Brayton a handful of times only to have Brayton hold his position then Reed eventually losing a post to Seely.

Fair play to Brayton, held his ground well.

I thought he looked fine. And honestly, I have to wonder if a bit of this is even strategy. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he'd rather be on the podium, but in the last two years he pushed hard in early races and didn't make it out of the West coast rounds due to injury. I have to wonder if he's looking at this a bit more like a marathon, stay healthy at all costs then start pushing harder and capitalizing on his historical strength (consistency) rather than going all out in the first five rounds.

I really think we will start to see him inching up as the weeks go on.

Could be, except while he bides his time and stays healthy the other riders in front of him are gathering more points and confidence
