I know you guys have a "bromance" with Ricky but "It couldnt have happened to a nicer guy"?

He was trying to pay the guy a compliment and mis spoke, no big deal. Focus on his point and not his delivery.

He just mispoke obviously. He clearly feels bad for Wilbur. Are you not intelligent enough to realize that?

One other thing. People who criticize RC for being a team owner but also being in the booth are morons like he is somehow biased. Ricky once said "if he doesnt't go any faster he's going to tip over" referring to Tickle, his rider at the time. Tonight he said Tomac "dominated". People critiquing Ricky clearly dont know him. There's not a guy who expects more out of his riders than him. If they dont perform he has no problems calling them out like when h tonight he said "no one was in Tomac's league".

I'm wondering if Ricky is thinking now he should have kept Peik. Seemed like he jived decently with the team and always spoke highly about working with Ricky.

They didn't have enough money to keep Weston. With Roczen's salary, tickle took a pay cut to stay there. It's obvious that Wrston can ride ANY bike and do well on it, some guys can't to that. Barcia is struggling on the Yamaha, while Weston looks great on it.


Oh and Yeah.... RC made a mistake, but with live TV, it's impossible to correct it. Big deal !!

I wish we could go back to cyclenews days and read about it a week after if the paper came at all and the motoworld show was bumped from 5pm to who the hell nows am

That's pretty much how I see it. It certainly could be a conflict of interests having him up there, but I've yet to see that happen. And what's the problem with what he said anyway? It makes sense to me.

I kinda picked up his tone after Roczen dropped off Eli's wheel, RC seemed a little disappointed with KR's effort there.
Ricky wants a battle to the flag and the fans do too.
If Eli was sitting 2nd in points going into the main, we would have seen a hammerfest!

I didn't sense that at all. Ricky stated that Ken is smart enough to know the points deal and a second is next best to a win. I think he was fine with the way Ken raced, and he made that pretty clear. They raced super hard for 3 or 4 laps, no harm in 2nd when you got a 25 points lead. Especially when ELi was just flying.

I liked when Ricky said everyone (on the screen) has a championship except Bagget as I am staring at the yellow #4 bike on the center of the screen!!!!!

I like Ricky, he has his moments, he is human and he is a racer not a stooge. He brings a lot to the table and understands racing better then most.
