Awesome! Love these helmet cams!

Man these guys love riding the edge of the track. Kenny wasn't so bad , but when I watch some of RV , Stewarts , ect.....it gets down right scary how close to the tuff blocks they get sometimes.

Wow, last 3 laps and not a single lapped rider?

Didn't really notice during the broadcast, but that seems pretty rare to not encounter a single lapped rider those last few laps?

Great show of sportsmanship at the end. I know that is just a gushy romantic notion to some but I dig it.

I think with the simple track design even the guys in the back of the pack were running similar laptimes to the leaders so there weren't as many lappers. Next weekend will be a bit different with the track I imagine.

Through the whoops maybe, but other than that on a 450 I don't see why you would need to.

Hopefully see this same video come Saturday but a nice lil number 5 in front of him. Either way, all red bull podium is what we are hoping for this weekend! 1. Dungey 2. Wilson 3. Roczen.. In no particular order :p

The thing about Roczen is he's only gonna get better. Plus, he looks like he enjoys it, like a kid riding a skate board or video games.

I'm driving at the fact that I'm not the only one that seemed to not be very excited by what they saw last week. Things could change and at some point we will get some good racing, but there are no true favorites. When everyone seems to be doing the same thing (and I mean that in more way than one) there isn't much excitement.

Racing is best when there are no favourites.

Its fucking boring when sports are dominated for long periods... unless of course its your own favourite who is dominating and you enjoy shouting about how great they are, which I've always thought is pretty lame.

History tells a different story. When MC was dominating the sport got more press and to be honest watching MC sprint for the first 10 laps was worth paying for. Sports are always better where there is a favorite to root for. There isn't any major sport hat has done well without favorites.

I used to root for everyone but McGrath for that very reason. I also used to root for everyone else but Everts, Schumacher, Federer etc. Thats not to say I don't have huge amount of respect and admiration for those who reach that level of greatness, I just don't feel as though they need my support when they reach that stage and instead tend to support those trying to knock them off their perch.

Roczen has been my favourite rider since I first saw him in 2009. I've always championed him and often argued with people on here about his potential. Now I feel that he's reached the very top and is regarded as one of the worlds best (indoors and out) I'll continue to admire him but my attention will move on to someone else. If he wins the SX title this year I'll be pleased for him but if he goes on to dominate for the next few years I'll be hoping someone else can beat him.

And that's the point of having a favorite. Sure, a lot of people will root for him, but a lot of people will root against him as well. Either way you're going to be excited going into the race and there will be a ton of talk after the race. You might get something similar with several guys winning races all season long, but honestly I don't think that it would help the sport grow or attract more fans/viewers.

I'll say it now, there will be a surprise favorite by mid-season.
