^ Indeed, a factory Yamaha should be blue with silver wheels.

To me the exposed open area in the middle of the bike throws them off. Adds strange angles and colors.

Valli/ Pourcel's bike looks the best, but its still Frankenbike.

barn pros/home depot looks really good too. i think the rockwell works because of the side flowing better with a solid color all the way to the front. and as said before ,its 2-3 colors. jgr has so many different colors from their sponsors. its a good problem.maybe they will freshen it up as the season goes and try different looks.

It's very cool that Autotrader got involved with JGR. They are also sponsoring Jr88 and Logano for 2015.

All these yamahas look great in my opinion. I hated the 10-13s. These new ones are sexy though.

I almost posted this same thread earlier. You can hardly tell the JGR bike from one of the satellite or privateer efforts. It looks like they just slapped some stickers on there. Doesn't matter, if they win, just an observation.

I really dig the silver rims. The jgr bike looks like it belongs to a team on there way out of the sport. I really hope not, but I don't see them being around in 5 years.

I hate the fact that most of the factory teams use black wheels. I love the teams in the Japanese motocross championship, they use all sorts of wheel colours and it usually looks better in my opinion.

The steel framed 250f? Did you ever ride one of those? I hated the yz450 and 250f steel frames! Now the 04 yz250 2t, wasn't bad, but I hated that generation 250f/450f/426/400!

In my opinion blue wheels look best on the yamahas.

Couldn't find any pics of a current gen with blue wheels

There is one in the same pit bits, but I didn't post it because, although it does look good, it's also got hardly any sponsors compared to the others and wasn't extraordinary in any other design aspect so I didn't post it.

Can't say I'm a fan of the blue wheels. Looks cheapy me. Blue or red hubs. Yep. Rims. Nope. I like silver on yamaha/suzuki, gold on Honda, black on ktm and that's about it.

What's up with the purple? Purple on the rear axle /chain adjuster, rear brake housing, and just a tad bit on the graphics radiator shroud. Could do without that in my opinion. Little details like that throw off the entire look, it's too busy, they're trying to do too much imho. Also, could Pirelli do some differnt color stickers? I understand branding through marketing and how people identify certain brands with colors and font, but it seems like they could work with some if these teams to get a better look so it flows better with the colors on the bike.

I like the lower front area of the rear plates to blend in or disappear vs the highlighted look of izzys in that area. The way that area is addressed on some of today's bikes really makes a difference in how the bike looks overall. Factory ktm could do something there as well like the troy lee bikes. A lot of others will go black there to blend it..
