You guys will whine about ANYTHING. How about trying to just watch the racing instead of bitching about the ticker, or the pit reporters, or the camera angles, or the commercials, or Ralphs suit, or Emigs stutter, or RCs weight, or the color of the dirt?

Terry, I was trying to watch the race but unfortunately there was an oversized running order overlay blocking most of the action last night. lol

Worst idea of 2015 gets a very early nominee! That leaderboard on the left takes up too much real estate.
And is very rarely correct, did you see the Holeshots and first couple of laps ? Useless graphic

Sure they'll sort it out mind.

If it was semi transparent this would be perfect. Even with it being opaque it is 1,000 times better than the giant blog we have now. If it's about the product placement then it looks like I've got a retailer to take off the list. Was it Rocky Mountain? If they've got the power to keep it then they've got the power to make it better.

I love it. You can actually keep track of riders position at a glance, rather than having to read every single name as they slowly scroll across the screen. You spend way more time doing that than just glancing at the box. Nicely done Foxsports.
Concur - I usually have Live Timing and Scoring going on the laptop to look at while i watch the race. The new scoreboard let's me check some of the same race goings on as Live Timing and Scoring without looking away

Did you enjoy the gigantic black box on the left part of your screen and did you not feel it could've been done better?

They need the box on the big screen in the stadium also.

This sucks and it happened a lot. Even with the "Spider Cam" shots you don't get to see the whole corner plus seeing the racing in the previous straights behind the leader is often covered.

You guys are asking a group that quite often gets team names, sponsors and hometowns messed up as well to fix something they've brought in touting as wonderful.

Buckle up bitches, that thing is gonna annoy you for a while I'd say!

The motoGp one is much better... but the SX people think you need to say M.Stewart and A.Martin when the brothers aren't even there.... and let it float in from the LHS border. NFI, but they also replay the holeshot ten times while you hear the crowd going nuts at the live racing, so we're dealing with idiots I'm afraid.

Current leader board is a terrible idea.

You can apply the position swapping to a horizontal slider across the top of the screen.

Like somebody mentioned, imagine if this was was the NBA instead. People would be screaming holy hell.

It is a short race. There is not enough time for a huge box and as many replays as are shown.

And who gives a crap about the order when they are coming down the first straight??

I wanted to wait until I had watched a few races on TV before commenting but:

The pylon is a great idea but needs to be 50 percent smaller. Put up the top 10, then 11-22, back to the top 10 then 11-22 throughout the event. I don't need to know the entire running order at a glance and half the pack or so would be fine.

What do you guys think of the trailer at bottom of the screen showing boring stick and ball results? I know there are a lot of moto heads that enjoy stick and ball "games" but not me so I don't have any desire to see game results during a race. In 1985 before I left Ohio I was thinking about getting a mylar strip to put across the bottom of my TVs to cover up the trailer. I thought it was a good idea then and after watching SX this season I think it still is today. Too much information on the screen at once IMHO. I get distracted easily..........hey look there's a squirrel!

At first, I hated it, but, it has grown on me because it is actually usefull, unlike the old scroll at the top.

But... I watch on a 65". I can see how it may suck with a smaller screen.

They don't need it there for the start/1st lap.

I wish they would reverse the order they have now and show the racing on the little box to the left and the results in the big portion of the screen. They would have more room to advertise.

How long until we have a minimize option, like computers or tablets? Those who want it big, leave it big. And those that want it gone, click! Want it twice the size? Go to Settings->Race Order->Full Screen, lol.
We can't be that far from that.
I seriously keep looking for the minimize button...

Thanks for the grins RE: increasing size and number of Fox logos. On the other hand they are giving us live TV for the first time ever all season so I can't squeak too much about the logos. The other stuff is fair game but realistically the trailer on the bottom probably won't be going anywhere any time soon. Sad sign of the times the way our society has become addicted to data 24/7 multiple streams, all the time but I digress.

Cutting the size of the pylon in half however would be a great improvement with just flip flopping the top eleven and bottom eleven.

I like the box on the left of the screen. One of my favs was barely mentioned during the broadcast and I could glance over and see his position.

Tons better to watch your favorite rider coming thru the field and you can see passes being made in real time when names flip flop. Bunch Whaaaaa Babies!

If you have online access you can have Live Timing up on your PC/Mac/Android/iPhone device. I'm a fan of the pylon don't get me wrong it is just when I was at A3 the pylon on the stadium floor didn't take up ten percent of my view either.

I actually like it, but why not cut the viewimg resolution to begin at the edge of the box and run to the right of our screens. The box can essentially be in a dead zone. Just don't block any of the race action. Maybe abbreviate the riders names like in MotoGP and make the box smaller.

Very cool. Fast forward five years you think we will see G force monitoring and engine related data for MX bikes being shared on screen?
