Kinda funny...we like to go to Utah!!

I was a decent national level intermediate but gave up racing in 2007 to go to college. I've been out of the sport and riding since then. After having joined the professional world ~3 years ago, I got the bug again and decided I wanted to get back into moto. Going with the 2 stroke was a no brainer - pretty happy with how she turned out!
*Note: couple of goodies missing from these photos: Hinson clutch cover, carbon disc guard and black ARC brake lever

Why did you decide on the Bill's? Have you tested others? Im putting the 300 SXS kit on my 250 this winter and trying to get some opinions on what to go with. I have always leaned towards the FMF Fatty but not based on documented performance improvements.
Thanks
CH 804
Moto804. The FMF fatty combo works great on a 250SX but lacks top end punch that I was looking for and its even more noticeable after installing the 300 kit. Rating B. I tried these pipes.
Scalvini. Terrible fitment with a capital T and once fitted up it didn't give the top end I was looking for. I'd give it a D+ based on everything.
PC 300XC pipe and 304. Borrowed this set up from a buddy and it worked just like MXA said it did in their 300 SX test. It was smooth and tractable and gave more top end. This is what I bought and ran until late last yr. Great fitment and it delivers as advertised. Fitment was great other than it a little looser than I'd like at the spigot and I ended up using oversized O-rings with it. Rating A.
Bill's Pipe with MX2 silencer. I've been a huge fane of theirs since the 90's and ran their pipes on pretty much all of my bikes. I called them and told them what pipes I had tried and what I felt they did and what I was looking for and they told me that their pipe would be exactly what I was looking for and they didn't lie. It's definitely softer on the bottom than all of the other pipes but has a nice meaty middle and I like that aspect a lot and it revs way further than any of the other pipes and was exactly what I was looking for. Fitment was great. Rating A+
I think all of the pipes added power and were much better than the very hard hitting and super quick to sign off stock pipe. I think it's definitely more a personal preference type of thing when choosing a pipe combo but for what I was looking for the Bill's combo delivered in spades.
Rocketsocks26. Thanks Rob and based on what I've seen so far I'm sure your bike will look awesome when it's done.
Bartziokas123, I had a buddy Hydro-dip my silencer, ignition cover & powervalve covers & the head stay/mount. It's is very durable and looks very realistic. I took the Ohlins off and had it serviced and it's going my new bike.
KTM should hire you for design work, I see the 2016 FE color scheme now.
Also good info on the pipe/exhaust. Im trying to decide what to put on my 2015 300xc. Not really a fan of the power delivery of the 300 so far, I truthfully preferred my 250. Ordered a sx ignition and high comp head, hoping to get back some of the power charictuistics of the 250.
