So I am seeing dudes online with purple bikes gold hubs etc. How are they customizing them?
12/3/2014 10:26am
Or Triangle on PS3. It works on plastic(except OEM bikes), and on wheels and hubs on all bikes. Each part that is customizable will have a Y or Triangle on the bottom left and says "customize color" or something to that effect.

I'm hoping to get some questions answered. First off, I went out and bought an xbox360 just so I could buy this game. I haven't owned a gaming system in 10 years so playing games live is new to me.

I'm happy with the game and it's fun as long as I'm not playing online. Is everyone else's online play glitchy? It isn't accurate on what place you are in or time behind leader. Also, I have my headset plugged in and I can't hear anyone. Does anyone have this issue? And yes mute is turned off. Is my internet connection too slow?

Online is glitchy, yes - 40 sec races, inaccurate time behind leader, etc. Its worse when you join a full room or join a host from overseas. Smaller private rooms work best. You will see the headset icons but most guys don't talk unless you just speak up, however if guys are in a separate party chat, the icon shows headsets but they cannot hear you, only those in the party they are talking to.

Next question. People have invited me to chat party but how do I say yes?

Hi there guys,

For those of you who downloaded the game, and now you are unable to race with people who bought the cd. You only have to download the game again and you'll be ready to go. If you are playing on ps3 add me fabolution.

On Xbox press your middle button and go to your messages I think. How to I finish leveling up my 650? I got about half the stuff but it seems to have quit leveling up, holy shit that's stupid level up haha

That's almost the same lines I hit. In the second rhythm shown, I go 4-5-3-3. Probably no faster than his 4-4-3-4 though since it's still 4 jumps. Just fun as hell to try and huck it though.

Hey Guys,

Let me first say I am not a gamer. I have no console thingee...only PC.

I started playing Motocross Madness WAY back in the day. I progressed to MCM2 when it came out. Then tried Unleashed. That is the cliff notes on my gaming background.

That said...

I have been playing MCM2 online now for a couple months after a 10 year layoff. I see where this MX vs ATV SX is coming out for the PC on Feb. 15.

I plan on purchasing it when it releases. Although a couple things are bothering me.

Is there any way to add user made tracks? I assume not. Hopefully the PC version will include this at some time. User maps are the only way to get longevity out of a game IMHO. As of now I have 1200 NAts I can play with MCM2.

No 2 strokes? That is a big let down for me. Sorry, I ment BIG letdown.

Online play is a must for me. I assume Gameranger or the like will host this game.

Waiting for the middle of February...

There is a 125 two stroke on the game but not a 250. Hopefully they will have custom tracks. You should download MX VS ATV Reflex for PC. There is a bunch of custom tracks.

I don't think they are going to offer an editor or the ability to bring user created tracks into the game. I think they plan to monetize that portion of the experience by releasing new tracks from time to time. In my opinion (not that I know anything about track creation) the stock tracks are THE best tracks I have ever seen in a game. I am excited for the release of 4 more in the next few weeks. One of which is Daytona. Booya!

This is not to say that someone wouldn't right their own editor Smile .
Time will only tell.

250 2-strokes are coming, as well as a new chassis that is in between Stock and Factory. Not sure on the 250 2-strokes, but the new chassis should be available end of January-early February.

Any of you guys on PS3 tried racing online lately?

My buddy and I tried to race tonight on a private session and public session but could not connect. There were zero riders in my public session also. What's up?

I occasionally have that problem, too. Last night however, I raced a public session for over 2 hours without any real issues as far as getting disconnected. When I first joined, it was me and 3 other guys, it ran great up until we had 10+ guys, then it got a little laggy, and one guy was glitching all over the place. Then once it dropped below 10 guys it ran fine again. Seems like it comes and goes. Some nights I can't connect to anyone, and other nights I can go without any issues..

For all the people unhappy about not having their "perfect" racing game work with no flaws immediately, go and get Hughesnet internet. You won't be able to play a fucking thing online! And you can pay 126 dollars a month for limited usage.

I think it kinda crazy to take take that corner so wide so you can quad in when you can take the turn tight and go 3-3-4-5 which is actually faster cause you dont jump into the lowest point of the section.

I can take it tight and quad in. It's just easier and more predictable(no sliding out) to rail the outside since you don't have to use the reflex stick at all to rail the berm. 3-3-4-5 is probably the fastest, but it's fun to try and pull some JS7 type shit thanks to the double preload. (Not that I like the preload deal, I'd rather have a traditional seat bounce, but since it's there, I'm going to use it.)

I still dont get this double preload deal. I dont see any of the fast guys doing it and am wondering if its just an xbox thing. What the hell is it?

Nah, I'm on PS3. You just jump higher/further, and it sort of throws the bike forward like the old whip glitch. The only thing is, is that it's super risky, because you have to time it right and EVERY jump is different. If you don't time it right, it's game over, you're crashing. That's why I only use it in a race as a last ditch effort to pass a guy, or for fun just to huck big stuff if I have a decent lead and know a crash won't cost me the race. I learned quick that doing it a lot resulted in me losing positions to guys using the safer more consistent lines because I would crash more taking the risky big jumps. It's a do or die deal, for me anyway. I've been trying to get better at it, but it's just so hard to be consistent with it.

Care to tell me how it is done?

Why's it so hard to make a good video game for these people? I continue to see them post that their working on patches and what not when they should just scrap it and move on to making a better next game.
