And, your lack of understanding humor is annoying.
No wonder why people in the industry crack jokes on this board. Listen to the damm interview again.
Ryno stated his opinion and then explained why he felt that way. Thats respectable in my book.
People seem to think he only rides RedBud and all the GPs are Lommel.
In fact... in blown out shitty stuff with cushion, he might be the best I've seen... He's fine in ultra hard pack with rocks (MXDN 2011)... He's from the northwest where its rutty and shitty... he hauls at washougal where it's skatey... his practice track the last 6 years has been sand...
And not for nothing, but Ryno is not anywhere near as good, never was, as RV. It will definitely be difficult, but RV is more than capable of doing it.
I was too young to follow the sport at the time.
Pit Row
In my opinion, RV will win this championship- but it won't be a cakewalk. One of the biggest reasons Euro riders struggle in the Nationals initially is the drastically shortened practice times. It's the opposite effect for RV; he gets much more practice time than he normally has to learn a track, which in my opinion will minimize the "getting used to GP's" effect. He's also an absolute animal on a dirt bike, in any condition.
Your fucking counter argument is a ludicrous as my comparison.
His argument is on point. From the elevation of the sport by adding competition in different series to RV's struggles with adapting to the change - culture, foods, weather, elevation, travel, living. There WILL BE A LEARNING CURVE. AC222 and the rest of the competitors have an advantage. This is fact.
That said, as he stated, RV can still win the title.
Being patriotic is one thing.....but when it comes to moto........it's moto , and you embrace your fellow moto brother no matter where they are from! We ALL have a tough enough time competing against every other sport on this planet such as baseball , football , basketball , Rugby , the fucking UFC and everything else........we're a small group that needs to back each other up....no matter what freakin' country you come from!
AMA.....GP.....it don't matter! What matters is good racing! That's what we all want to see! At least that's what i want to see!
All this banter back and forth on who's better...AC or RV? When it comes down to it....I just want to see them race. And let the best man win.
* Note - Watson and I did not need to drag and kick Ryno while stating our opinions.
Unless you can answer YES to any of those questions I don't think you're qualified to tell Ryno who he should or shouldn't compare himself to.
I pretty much agree with Hughe's on most of what he had to say but I think if anyone can beat Cairoli it will be RV and I would place my money on RV for the title. RV is one determined little ginger and he'll be right there for the title.
