Every Rider on this forum, Has to have a track/ facility that always gives you fits but you keep going back to try and master it.

So what place is that for you??

My Two Nemesis are : Gorman and Piru mx

I Have such a brutal time at those two places..why i have no fuggin clue, i just know I'm up for a battle whenever my buddies say lets ride there.

I don't ride enough to worry but I'm definitely not in love with out local track.

Appin is dry, choppy, hard pack clay that is good in the morning for a bit till it's nasty. I'm not good enough or ride enough to worry but it's definitely not my favourite track, it's just close! I like softer dirt for sure!

For you NW guys, Hannegan was always horrid for me. I am not sure what it was about that track, but I was always awful on it. The layout was confusing I think more than anything, and the track flow always threw me off with so much high speed and totally flat sections.

Hangtown. I lived 5 minutes away for 18 years and I never got a handle on it. That by far to me is the most brutal California track, even glen helen is easier for me

I know this will sound dumb when we have Washougal, but Horn Rapids was my favorite track. The dirt / sand I always liked. The wind does make it a bit of a challenge though. It has been years since I have raced, but I vividly remember having to hit jumps on one side of the face of a jump, knowing you were going to land on the opposite side of the jump with how much the wind would carry you, and if you got a good gust of wind, you never knew where you were going to land.

My friends and I used to camp there as often as we could in summer for practice when we were teenagers. I swear I don't even think we brought food. LOL. Young and dumb.. But we had fun!

Basically......over the past couple years.....any track that has dirt on it , has jumps or corners , gets rough and I need to get out of 2nd gear.....yeah , those are the tracks that seem to give me problems now days. But the good thing is....they only seem to give me problems when I actually go riding. When I spectate.....they give me no problems at all.

Pax Trax in north Florida kicks my ass every single time. Not sure why. At this point its a mental game. In 2005 I rode there while Barcia was on the track practicing prior to the Mini Os and I crashed so hard that I have no recollection of loading my bike up or the drive home. Needless to say I don't go out of my way to ride there any longer.

Lately it's been over-watered than straight to hardback shit.

Plus it's full of swappers. I got hooked up and launched on the step-down double passing someone who moved right last second. Him doing 15, me 50.

Old Mate's track is a tough track when dry and choppy, but fucking awesome when ripped deep.

MSM2 Redbull straight rhythm. . . Timing, timing, timing, technique.

At least I can still walk after most of my crashes. . . something that would not happen in real life.

Of course, in real life I wouldn't be hucking those impossibles. . .lol

Geezus! That's not good! I've not been forever, like a really long time but I do remember there being a few blind spots so i'd rather there are more lappers than none!

Do they hold just general riding days or is it all race?

I've ridden Appin on Tuesday's and the track is not too bad in the morning. Fully ripped on Monday's lately. Have u seen - island action sports complex. 1hr north of Newcastle but should be good.

I haven't been there in years but it was always hard and dusty till it got damp.
Then it was like ice.

Dade City MX day track and Southwick MX 338. Both are very sandy with DEEP whoops and chop. I enjoy practicing and riding in the sand but never enjoyed racing in it, can't seem to get the flow going in a moto situation.

Never liked Steel City until last year. I just never had good luck there and seemed like I had never ridden the track when it was perfect even though I've been there dozens of times. But last year I just had the "fuck it" mentality when I showed up and even though it was muddy as hell in practice, I had a great day and won one of my classes. Wouldn't mind going back there now if I could Laughing

Richland is sketchy now. Way too fast with jumps that are poorly made. Richland could/should be a lot better, especially with the facilities they have. Add on top of that, the promoter there got another track shut down in Eastern Wa, I don't think I will be giving them money anytime soon.

Washougal kicks my ass every time but I still give her a try. I think I've only ever had one really good day out there. I suck at the whoops and that big kicker after the triple. It gets nasty rutted and bumpy. The competition level of riders seems really high and there are a zillion of 'em out there.

Not sure. I've checked Facebook and it doesn't look like it will be too far from opening. 2 months I would guess

I'm old now so every track gives me fits but when I was actually fit and young...that stupid pit they had right after the start straight at Longview TX. And pretty much all of Rio Bravo. This was back in the '70's. I loved both places because they did test me.

Not sure yet mate, google or facebook their page and follow. Think they're just working through final things but it looks amazing, and like the guys running it are super into it!

Gatorback.....Ive had nothing but bad luck at that track, from having a huge lead and being taken out by a lapper to smoking a clutch on the start.

Golden Pine in Mississippi. Rode there a few times and never could figure the place out. I ride sand excellent also everywhere else. I think the weird hard pan underneath made the bike feel like it was sliding all the time.
