My 09 kawi 450 has 70+ hours on the stock top end and it's been ridden fairly hard and it still starts 1st-2nd kick hot or cold some of us just get lucky lol

I've got no problem starting my KTM 450 Fe, I just hop on & hit the button, Fire's right up every time!

I rarely have to kick my Yz250 more than once. . . Your bike sounds like a real piece.

What is the point of this thread?

If your bike is starting within 1-2 kicks then be happy, there is no issue with that. That's how they are supposed to be when everything is in spec.

Know if it had no compression that's an issue but if it has compression and starts right up your good to go!

I would disassemble the entire engine to see what the problem is.

Probably just the piston return spring, makes it super easy to start and kick over. I would split the cases before you ride it next, just to make sure everything is alright.

Either that, or you got your two stroke and four stroke mixed up in the garage, it happens.Cool

My Honda always started first or second kick, even in gear.

Try rotating the air in your tires. That should easily add 2-3 kicks to your cold start.

I started dating a chick that gives me a BJ every morning when I wake up, makes breakfast, packs my lunch, and then leaves with my laundry which she does, and brings back folded when she makes dinner for me topless in the evening... I think I should dump her?

4 strokes always start and run their best, right before they blow up.
