Everyone will be competitive. It's a straight rhythm section, not a multi-lap SX race.

if you're trying to insult someone the term is mouthbreeder, not mouthbreather.

Sweet video, Pastrana on a 500 is a scary thing though, eventually he will find the combination of its and his limits if he rides it very long, it's just the way he is.

Cool deal to see them do a 500 Suzuki, inquired about them making those several times in the past, something else to put on my wish list.

Yep, been waiting on them to do some Suzuki frame conversions.

I believe that if TP would have trained worked and fully dedicated himself like an RC or RV during his big bike moto days that RC-Reed -JS7 would not have had nearly the win numbers that they currently have.
I think his head was simply in to many other places at once.
Still a diehard TP fan anytime he throws a leg over a bike!

Imo, the issue was indeed his head- the fact that he'd pounded it into the ground like a howitzer round several times. If he could have not been going for a record number of concussions, he would have absolutely have won more races and titles than he did.

TP may not have stuck around the MX game as long as we wanted him to but I think he is the one laughing all the way to the bank. He never would have made the kind of money racing as he has just being TP199.

Red Bull's paying me not to race, just because they don't want me making their riders look bad

It is a Red Bull event. Not a SX or National. Factories have zero say in how Red Bull runs their event.

Unless the riders plan on buying their own bikes and funding the trip themselves, I'd say the factories have more say than people may think. Maybe not as far as TP goes, but they can definitely withhold their rider's bike if they feel like getting pissy.

Ok I can see your point. I think the OEM's would like to see their 450's against a bigger bore 2-stroke.

exactly the problem in my opinion.

the day the factories start telling people what they can ride in a one-off race thrown by RedBull is a bad day indeed. seems like communism in professional racing.
