probably,depends on the start. seems like the track is real small. hard to pass on. so,whoever gets the best start,will win. imo....

Can he? Yes, he has the ability. It al depends on how well he has adjusted to the Suzuki (and how well James adjusts to the Yamaha).

A lot (most) depends on how much heart or drive he has to run with and push James!

That's a fair question. Both on new rides, with different people around them, and we haven't seen Reed in a while.
I think Reed has a decent shot based on Stewart's situation.
James seems to perform better when he has a comfort zone.

There are two ways to beat James.

1) He takes himself out.

2) Pressure him enough that he takes himself out.

There's only two people capable of that and Reed is not one of them.

I beg to differ. Where was it, Toronto I think, a couple of years back. Reed pressured Stewart and Stewart imploded taking himself and Preston out.

who cares who wins that race sucks anyways its made for 80cc bikes.. The pros go for an excuse to hit the tables and throw money away and party like rock stars.. Whoever wins clearly does not say anything for 09 sx. Reed has just as much of a chance to win than bubba does.

i think theres alot of riders that could beat james or chad at the us open. doesnt mean any of them will be beating james come SX time.

i think so, anybody can win there. all the pooseys racing this weekend will start whining if the paints get rubbed off a bit...they know who they are and we'll see who they are after saturday night.

Reed wasnt the best in the world at anything... he was the best of who actually showed up a the last usa rounds of sx...and just barley over windham....
The best in the world ran 2 weeks ago and reed came in 13th and 9th.
