nr1 Evert Honda was a nice bike. the nr.3 Tortelli 125 bike was "not so good" needed a new piston every heat.. Nr.3 KTM of Crockard was a realy dangerous bike, the same as where Pit Beier broke his back on..

Only made it up to page 28 so far of this fantastic thread. Throwing up my own contribution in the mean time. I was 18 when I bought my 98 YZ250 and I'm not sure how long afterwards but I bought a MotoXXX graphics set and seat cover. I had a local upholstery shop do my seat and I "jumped the gun" with excitement to install the graphics before I got the seat back and messed up the install as you can see in the pictures. Not sure if I would've been able to make both sides line up right or not, but oh well. I still loved it.

An italian company on facebook who anodises a shit load of their supermoto bikes said it works out ok, just the finish is what you'd expect, black but the uneven surface gives it that sort of motly finish. But he said how well it handed up was rocks and type of anodising as per normal.

Plasti dip or paint me thinks but I've decided to just forget about it.

Ano would hold up very well imo.shame pro carbon uk does'nt make the swingarm protector's for the ktm as they look sick and give that extra protection.your bike would look even sweeter with a black swinger/ carbon guard imo.
Alas they only do them for honda and yamaha.

Here's the CR 500 my dad and I have been building. He bought parts, I put it together Smile Rode it for the first time last weekend. Scary, made my 450 feel like a 85 afterwards.

Yup it's an older lightly used set from a 04 CRF450. The shock length is a little shorter so the rear of the bike is 1/2" lower. It's some pretty neat looking stuff, just wish I could speak Italian so that I could get parts! Roland Solva is difficult to communicate with in english and I've had no luck so far.

What is that, an '84 motor? Put a serious flywheel weight on it, mill the head and get someone who know what they're doing to fine balance the crank and those can actually be some very sweet motors.
