Hazem, I just put about 5 grand into an 05 yz 125. Best money I've ever spent. Thing is the funnest thing on 2 wheels. Also I'm from Kansas City, and there aren't too many 125''s around. we should ride!

Yes I got it taken care of. Before I sent the motor off I replaced the shift stopper, so I was fairly confident that it wasn't that. Took it apart and the shift forks had a small piece of metal preventing it from falling into gear. Maybe they weren't very careful during reassembly..

I spoke too soon, after finally test riding the bike, I've discovered quite the let down.. It only shifts up to 4th gear, no 5th or 6th. I've read it could possibly be a shifter fork.. Anyone have any thing similar to this? I sent the motor complete to gorr, and received it that way. Put it in, fired it...

Thanks smez, your 125 build is still the best i have yet to see. (Kind of my motivation to build my own) I wish I could of gotten my hands on one of those aluminum tanks. They look amazing. Got it all together and discovered a pretty significant coolant leak in the water pump drain hole. New seals and gaskets...

Thanks smez, that's what I was going for. Working on organizing some fundraising with the bike now. I've had a handful of local pros volunteer to race the bike in 250A, and donate their winnings to support local breast cancer research. I've reached out to a few video guys here in the Midwest in attempt to document it. Fingers crossed..
