I really dislike my name. When I created it, I had just started riding. Every time I'd go to the track, I'd spend more time picking my bike up than riding it. Anymore, I rarely wreck. So the name isn't fitting and just sounds stupid when I pipe up in a thread about someone wrecking.

I wish GuyB would allow a rename for posters with a good history. I'd probably change to something with the number 19 in it. That's my race number. It is my mom's birthday. My mom was one of those overprotective moms that would never let me ride anything with two wheels. I didn't get my first motorcycle till I was moved out of the house at 19 or 20. But I used her birthday as my race number to give her a hard time but anymore, she appreciates that I dedicated the number to her.

I've thought about it but I don't want to be one of THOSE guys and it doesn't bother me so much. Just one of those things that I would change if I could go back. I didn't realize I would become oddly addicted to Vital.
Personally, I never figured you actually wrecked a lot, but thanks for splainin'.

Huck, you too, I always figured your name was related to hucking jumps, now I know.

Cygnus, I too thought your name was Rush related...or could be.

Initials plus my longtime racing number. Not too creative, but at least I won't forget it. Although in my sig I think I'm riding a bike numbered 316.

I don't get up there to often anymore but used to love racing Pax. I do go to the Daytona National Reptile Breeders Expo in August every year and the SX most years. I need to get up there and ride again sometime soon though. If you come this way let me know and we will tug on some fish.

Thanks fella, back at you. As a kid I always loved watching the Pink Panther cartoons, he was always cool and pullin' off pranks.

This car always reminds me of your avatar and at times I've wondered if it was yours.

Way back, I started a small online and eBay store called reded racing. The ed part comes from my brothers initials and at the time we rode Hondas, thus redED racing. I've been reded on every forum that I've ever joined.
Thanks for explaining. Yours is one of those that made me wonder.

Speaking of wondering, anyone know how Guy B. got his name? Is Guy B. a contraction of Gibby?

As for my name...well...For "Titan"...I needed a (coughnewcough) name...I looked out my office window and there was a big red Nissan Titan parked there...I had no connection to the truck....but though Titan sounded good.

The 1 is because the original Titan account, may, or may not, have been banned...and I re-signed up.

Is that you, Stevie?

I don't come here that much these days and I gotta tell ya, it's nice to see a bunch of you guys I've lost track of over the past few years.

I came up with my username when I signed up for the Motocross.com forums a million years ago.

The place was crawling with kids, so I figured it would be best to let them know right out of the gate that I was a geezer.

I was actually only in my thirties at the time, but Steve Loyer was a wee lad who must be in his twenties right now.

I was directed to Motodrive by another Steve, moto814 shortly after.

It seems like most of my friends these days came from the moto forums.

I've met up and ridden and gone to races with a bunch of guys from here.

I even had Huck over for dinner once...

I'm actually golfing this Sunday with Tiki, 500Guy, Whitey and FCR!

Glad you liked it.

I'm sure your Scotch-drinking buddy appreciated the gift.

I know I always appreciate a gift of single malt. Sideways

I have been "OC" (short for Out of Control, NOT Orange County) since the late 80's...and i even had a shop in my garage that was "OC Racing"

So the story goes...we were out riding at a place called "Sticks" in Watsonville, its along a river and some of the most whooped out rough as it gets riverbed.

Anyway, i was in my Honda Oddessy and my good bro Stan tried to convince me if i held it pinned WFO i could get on top of them just like you can on a bike....well i gave it a try.....and i literally bounced on all four wheels like rolling the dice, it was such a nasty swap he could not believe i didnt cartwheel it....when i pulled up to him i was shitting my pants and he was jumping up and down and said, "Dude that was so OC!"

It stuck from that day.

Ive been ocscottie on forums, email address etc since day 1 i logged on the net.

btw: if you dont know what a Honda Oddessy is...it was the early version of my Honda Pilot, with about 1/4 the suspension. This thing was so brutal on my spine...and i wonder why now im having so many problems lol
