The extended view time is what I enjoyed. Seriously where is the producer during this time?

Looked like they sprayed it with Pam the way some of the mud slid off. I'm sure they put on what they can to keep debris from sticking. Cool views though from the start line.

Is Go Pro sponsoring it? I swear Weege and Langston referred to it on air as a Go-Pro during the motos. I saw your pics of the actual unit last week and it is definitely a different setup.

Or has the term "go-pro" already become commonplace for a helmet cam like people calling a tissue a kleenex?

On the plus side they at least aimed the camera further up the track this week so we could see more than the riders front fender

How about you shut the fuck up noob. TV and the broadcasters refer to it as a gopro. So instead of posting sarcastic, faggot responses, PLEASE sir, tell us what we should call the cameras.

Shouldn't you be posting more pics of your tramp stamp and bare ass (might not be the same guy, but you get the point)?

Go Pro has an exclusive contract for competition, but the wireless ones used are from 3G.

I remember when I was a lurker a few years ago some dude posted a thread about his automatic roll off system for gopros and people totally told him it was impractical an stuff. But hey that would definitely work, although it was pretty bulky looking so i don't think a rider would want that on their head?

Actually I don't think it was automatic.. Hard to remember.

Shit, a piece of fishing line every three goggle tear offs might work. Couldn't be worse.

That has to be a regular setting up a new UN to yank your chain.

Or maybe there are people that use bath salts and post on here...

GoPro or other cameras should make like a little wiper to clear the screen. It would be hard to come up with something, but would be completely worth it on days like today. The rider could pull a string like roll offs.

The camera used in the mxgp has a roll of system. Works really well.

It shouldn't be hard. The lens is maybe an inch across. Have a roll off system programmed to auto-roll every 15-20 seconds. If you use a 30ft roll of film, about standard size, it lasts an entire moto.
