Void....I just saw this tonight. I am so sorry to hear about this. My deepest condolences go out to you and your entire family. I don't wish this kind of pain on anyone. You're a great dude that didn't deserve this , and I'll keep you in my thoughts buddy. Stay strong and keep your chin up. RIP lil' Void!

I also shared the same bonding with my Dad and I can honestly say I rode every lap, every corner for my Dad when he was there watching. I hope you find peace of mind knowing your son more than likely felt the same way. The moments you two shared at the track far exceed most father and son relationships in an entire life time. Man, this was a heavy thing to read about.

We don't know each other aside from reading posts on this board - but my two boys & I trail ride together. So this stuff hits hard. Maybe we are all connected in some way.

I can relate to this as well. I definitely ride with a different mind set when my dad is at the track with me. I don't think he realizes it, but I notice it when I ride.

Again, extremely sorry for your loss and I hope you have an abundance of memories to look back on with your son.

We just got through wake #1. I have no family in this area but I'm guessing we had 2 or 300 people come through the line tonight, most of them moto friends (dirt and street). I realized I really do have "family" here. We're making the 300 mile trip up North first thing in the morning for wake #2 for family. I'm sure we'll have at least that many there too. I realize how lucky we are to have such great family and friends and it's helped us get thought this up to this point. Hug your kids and treat every day you can get with them as something very special.
