Just like fuel gate The AMA is a joke. I would be shocked as hell if Stew serves one day of suspension.

I think he will have a suspension. 4 races max.

I think he will still race the nationals though. And I hope he wins the title.

And if he had a shot at MXoNs he is DEF out now. FIM running that and I doubt Roger would have picked him anyway.

Wonder if Roger will lobby to his FIM buddies like he did for another suzuki rider?

He'll be allowed to take it now without consequence since his medical history has been uncovered. Not sure what the probation or drug tests every race are going to do. All he has to do is claim it.

He's going to be just as 'guilty' as before, but legally this time.

I agree with that providing he really does have a prescription for it.

If he does have a prescription this is being blown way out of proportion.

No, it isn't being blown out of proportion. There are protocols to follow. If a riders is taking a substance that is on the banned list, then they are to file a waiver. It is that simple.

I agree. But if he does have a subscription then he's gonna look like a big dummy for not simply reporting it to the officials and avoiding this whole fiasco. But, I'd rather have him look like a dummy than a cheater. (Realize, I don't think Stewart is dumb, I'm a big fan of his. I'm just poking fun at his negligence. )

And some find that to be a big deal, others not so much.

I'd be willing to bet that he is on the line at A1. It'll be some probation or they'll end his suspension in time. Given the circumstances, it's not a fitting punishment to miss any racing. He skipped paperwork. As far as the AMA/FIM are concerned, he didn't take anything for a competitive advantage.

I'm more interested to hear what happens with his Suzuki contract and what he does with his Seven line if he does have a suspension. Does Suzuki release him from contract (do they have that option) and does he sign someone to wear his Seven line while he is out.

I don't think shit will happen with Suzuki or Seven. Some of you act like he was caught doping!! Drama drama drama.

The FIM should have nothing to do with American SX/MX.

If they to suspend Stewart from SX MX they would be making a huge mistake. He is one of the few racers that has and would continue to grow the sport. I don't see them making that decision, it would not benefit them to suspend him from racing. They will release something that says he forfeits those points gained during that race + some huge fine and that he has no filed a waiver and will be race again.....or they will dig further back and say his "history" of the illness does not exist because he never had a dirty test.....all said..pump these guys up with drugs I wanna see some supernatural racing for sure

So this is an FIM violation.
2015 SX does not go to Canada.
Will the SX series still be a dual AMA/FIM world championship series?
If not, will this possible suspension even apply?

#1: The AMA has nothing to do with this, so right off the bad you are uninformed.
#2: It all depends on the mitigating circumstances. If Stew can show a medical history, doctor diagnosis and prescription history that meets the WADA criteria for a TUE, then it is down to procedural ignorance. This will mitigate the pentalty under the WADA Code Section 10.4. If Stew can demonstrate none of this, and it in fact appears he was trying to deceive and mask a competitive edge, he could get the max penalty, which is a 2 year ban.

Those of you saying if he has a prescription...he is OK, not so fast. There are plenty of crooked pill happy docs out there. The WADA criteria is more strict. It basically puts in writing a conservative set of criteria for prescribing Adderall. If Stew had a more aggressive pill happy doc, he could still face penalty, but I would assume the severity of the penalty would be mitigated.

It would be awesome if he didn't have to mss any races. I'm not really concerned with what the riders take, props if they can ride on that shit. I couldn't take anything and ride, not even a sinus pill.

Unless he is buying it off the streets, he must have a prescription right?
