Great to see Chad getting two hole shots. In the second moto though, he faded really fast after coming up short on that turn double no one was jumping in the first moto. Seems like he was limping around track after that? Was nice to see JS7 win both motos hard to complain about the bike anymore!

Not sure if he is physically hurt, but I'm pretty sure he's in pain cause his feelings are hurt.
He'll have some better finishes as the season goes on, we're seeing evidence of that now.

Once he is able to fight off guys like Andrew Short, Weston Peick, Josh Grant, Metty, and Nicoletti, he should be winning motos in no time!

You guys got big balls calling reed slow, if cr wanted to he could drop down into race winning lap times but instead he knows he hasn't had much time back on the bike since he broke I believe his neck and his fitness would only be good for 4-5 of those really high paced laps and then he would be suffering to finish the race.

You're putting a lot of words in my mouth. I would never say he sucks, nor would I say that I am better than him. I also don't hate him.

I'm critical of him because of his reputation for throwing his bike under the bus. He shit on the Honda last year and essentially blamed it for why he wasn't a top ten guy outside.

I can't fault you for over zealously coming to Chad's rescue, I know you guys are bros.

Well perhaps saying he is slow is actually 100% correct, because technically he IS slower than the guys who finished ahead of him....sure the guy would runs rings around me but it is not me who is racing against RD, TC, KR etc.

IF RV was racing, IF Barica wasnt injured then his results last weekend would be even worse. Because they would be (at this stage, who knows about later on) ahead of him.

Kudos for Reed for being out there racing after serious injury just like TC is. Mind you.... TC's injuries were much much worse.

p.s. I dont 'hate' Reed at all, he has had a stellar career, good on him

I think this post was asking did Chad get hurt and not if he was slow. He did well that first moto and sure he is not up to race pace yet, but he did improve and that is what we all hope to do on the track after an injury.

It just looked like that second moto that he came up short on a jump and maybe that is why he faded so fast? He has it in him to run up front I think. If not then it is still great to see the Veteran out there no matter what place he is in!

That is why I started the thread. Because he did fade faster in the second moto. I am a Reedy fan and wanted to know if anyone heard if he did get injured? By no means is he slow.

My opinion only but I believe the Chad just said screw this...put in as much as he could muster and then went back to the pits for some Ellie and kids comfort...and repeated for the 2nd moto. Dude is riding more in pain than he will let US know. He don't know how to slack but he does know how to not completely not screw the pooch. Stay smart Reedy.
