I don't think Tomac would be beating him but he would certainly be another fast guy to add to the mix.

Damn.... That is some balance! I do believe that when Eli figures out the 450 he will give K-Roc all he wants. I picked K-Roc for the National title this year before it started, once RV was confirmed out that is. lol

Really? You mean like outdoors in the 250s?

I will say however, that Kenny is kicking some ass.

250s and 450s is a whole different ball game. Roczen came out the gate swinging as soon as he jumped on the 450, Tomac hasn't done much. Although he has been injured so I will give him that. I just can't see Tomac coming out and beating Kenny anytime soon.

It looks like we will see some good racing, but between RV, Millsaps, and Tomac, I feel like this series is missing something. I suppose we've seen worse injury lists though.

Thank you, there have been many 250 champions who don't become 450 champions. Clearly Kenny appears to be a true talent who will win on the big bike.

I'm thinking Eli will be in the Canard-Barcia-Stewart battle , which is 20 secs back of Roczen/Dungey.

I personally think Roczen is more naturally talented on the 450 than Tomac, and Tomac is a more natural 250 rider. You have to be smoother and more patient on a 450, and that's Roczen's style.

I'm not sold yet on the "Tomac domination" on a 450. Roczen saves energy, finds good lines, and rides within his limits. I hate to say it, and I may be wrong, but I see Tomac becoming a lot like Josh Grant (in his early 450 days 2009/2010). Roczen is calm, cool, and smooth.

Awesome view. Great technic. Without Dungey inside, this could be the first page of the new MX book.

However what impress me the most here is Dungey's cool. KR would have never got out of that rut with Bam Bam inside. At that speed, with this kind of quick pass, I cannot believe Dungey identified his team mate, so yeah, it is impressive to see that Dungey is so competitive without being agressive, he races the track, focuses on a his lines, bike & fitness, not the riders.

Roczen has the most effective style to ride a 450 of the new generation of riders (Barcia,Canard,Tomac...).The domination of Barcia and Tomac over him is over. The "overhyped" Kenny is on the best way to show the americans why the germans called him "Wunderkind".Grinning

2 races in and you're crowing him King? If memory serves me correct, he won Hangtown last yr on the 250 and had a nice points lead midway through the series. How did that end up working out for him? Plus didn't he win A1 this year and have the points lead in that series as well? How did that end up for him as well? He is off to a great start and clearly looks like the guy, but history has a way of repeating itself so lets not get too far ahead here. LOTS of racing left.

There was a short red head guy who rode like Eli and a tall smooth guy who rode like Kenny.

One has 15 titles, the other is Kevin Windham.

Never underestimate someone who rides with intensity, often they will themselves into the win.

The reason Tomac beat Roczen last year in the 250s was due to Tomac having better fitness. I think Roczen is more talented and now with Baker in his corner he will now maximize his talent.

Tomac is a great kid but he wads up too much due to overriding the track. I know someone compared Tomac to RC but I don't see it at all.

Roczen's strength is outdoor tracks and his smooth style fits right in on a 450f. Canard and Tomac are both incredible outdoor racers. Canard's confidence is returning to his old 250f domination days. Can't wait to see a healthy Tomac outdoors.

Lot of slurp slurp going on for Roczen in this thread. Why don't we at least wait until Tomac is back on the track, even though he won't be 100% and the same crap will be posted again.

Next year Roczen will be on the TRIPLE AIR FORK!!! That's three chambers that could leak and have to be checked before every ride. Oh, the humanity!

The kid left home for the US and has plenty of outdoor wins,a SX championship, won his 1st SX in his rookie year on the big bikes, nearly the same Outdoors, went 1-1 just now to lead the premier US class, add his MXdN wins too and I think you're right,he could clearly be a "future king" !

Get him off that two piped atrocity and maybe he would be able to challenge KR, but on his current bike, I don't think so.

Kid is a stud no doubt but until he wins an outdoor and SX series in the US in the premier class, lets not get ahead of ourselves. No doubt he has the speed and talent but he has not been able to finish a season nearly as strong as he started since he came over. Maybe this will be the year.

Post of the day - fact is no one, know who will be better in the 450F class. Passing off the cup to KROC during their rookie season is flat out foolish.

By the way: was RC smooth? Canard? RV? These riders attack.

I agree, but since last year a lot has changed. His fitness is on top now,and beating Dungey in 3 of 4 races shows he is ready.Wink
