Pro taper soft whites. Renthal soft half waffle is my second fave. MC ran em, and I got hooked on those for years copying him as a kid lol

However, I have been using the ODI Emig grips for the last 2 months and really like them as well. I wish they were a little softer but otherwise they are really good.

Is it really that noticeable?
Not noticeable at all. I thought about the same thing but definately no worries about the size.

I just ordered two sets of the Emig Grips. A buddy had him on his bike and they felt really good. I'm digging the way you can take them on and off with no glue required....AND it comes with an aluminum throttle tube to boot. $25.00 a pair....thought I'd give them a try.

Methinks it's a plastic throttle tube included, not aluminum. Either way, this is a good product just like many if the others listed. Just user preference.

I agree with others that some of the oem grips are good.

Progrip 714 rally grips are my favorite, only grips I've found that don't give me blisters. They are super soft and will tear easily without a bark buster style handguard. Some people don't like them because they are a little larger diameter.

I've been a big fan of the Pro Taper pillow tops for the past 4-5 years. Thats all I've run til now. I have been suffering from CT really bad, so its very important what kind of gloves I use, handle bars & grips. I just ordered the Flexx Bars, Spider MX1 grips & I'm purchasing an Applied rubber mounted top clamp from a fellow Vital member. Thanks Marty! Anyways, after alot of research on what grips would be the best to help w/ my CT, I came to these puppies. The Spider MX-1 grips. I already have them sitting in the garage waiting for the Flexx bars to get here. I cannot wait for this set up! They are super sticky & are supposed to help w/ vibration. Check them out! I've had a few people I know say these are awesome!

Oury Pyramid grips for myself. They are super thin with lots of traction I wear a size 13 glove but hate thick grips.

I'm a black half waffle kinda guy, usually stock Honda. I really want to try the Jeff Emig ODI's but I run a g2 throttle tube with a mild cam for woods riding.

Tag Rebound grips.
This grip has been fantastic ... as I've said before .. I dislocated my wrist and as a result have crappy hand strength ... this grip seems to hold onto the glove better than anything else. .. yeah I know it's not a "pro's" grip but I use what works for me and this does.

I won a set of A'ME 1/2 waffles at REM and dig them. They are pretty soft which I like. The only bad thing is that I haven't seen them at the local shops.

Have you rode with them yet? I just got mine in the mail last week and tried them out over the weekend and they are amazing! The throttle tube is very smooth, I was slightly worried about the throttle tube to be honest, but its awesome! The only thing I have heard people say bad about the grips is that they feel larger than normal grips, but I didn't really notice that at all, but very impressed with these...just my 2 cents Smile

Best grip on the planet.

Love them, once you break them in, they are good and sticky along with a long use life.

I use Renthal Kevlar grips on the moto bike, and I use the ODI Vans grips on my mountain bike.

I tried Pillow tops because alot of my buddies loved them. To me they are too thick of a grip. So i went back to my Renthal dual compound tapered.

We are currently trying to expand our dealer network so hopefully you won't have that problem soon! They are for sale in Chaparral and Malcolm Smith!

Pro Taper MX Tri-Density Full - Only complaint is the knobs on the bar ends are kind of weak. But i like the slim feel.

I've liked the half waffles in the past though because I would take an exacto blade to the edges and customize them to my weird hand positioning.

I haven't yet. I'm pretty dang picky with my bars and grips setup.....and just feeling these....they seem to fit my hands really well. I should have them by about mon-Tue. Really looking forward to putting down some laps with them.

OH.....And as Ramrod posted above....I guess they have a plastic throttle tube? I had thought I heard it was aluminum. Either way....for $25.00.....I had to try them.

I just got the Emig ODI's and really like them. The only thing that pisses me off is the waffle is a little crooked and I can't straighten it... ocd fail.
