I was just telling someone that a round will end up at the new Candlestick Park. They can't schedule it earlier due to football.

Pretty good schedule- but yea, the folks in the NW got hosed...

That way they just leave the dirt and goodies in the stadium... It saves them tons of money. Same with the 3 Anaheims...
Surely they could have worked a Monster Jam or rodeo or something in between to break it up.

Didn't Seattle pretty much sell out every single year?....And we lost it. We have some of the best riding on the planet up here in the NW.....and we have the Washougal national......that's it. What does Cali have now?.....6 rounds?
Ya, I don't get that one, I feel for you guys losing your round up there.

However, I'm super stoked that there are now two races in NorCal!!!

Still 3 Anaheim's and then move the San Diego race downtown to Petco. The only reason I even go to San Diego is to tailgate and that is gone. Thank God for live TV.
I'm excited for petco, more room for the track, and qualcomm is a dump.

I can't say for sure, but one of the reasons San Diego may not be at Qualcomm, is the Charger's stadium issue. After 10+years trying to get a new stadium and not wanting to update Qualcomm and trying to build something downtown, it appears they will build on Qualcomm. From what I've read they will build a new stadium on the parking lot next to the stadium, then tear down the old Qualcomm. The new mayor and the Chargers have been in discussions. So, it is very likely possible construction going on caused Feld to look to Petco for 2015.

I'm just worried to Atlantas will water down the event. Not having 70000 will take away from the event. I'm excited we got 2 races but just worried about the attendance

So they're not talking about building the new Chargers stadium down the street from Petco anymore?

Cheaper for Feld that way. And it worked with the GA Dome schedule.

But I understand why you are asking.

The 49ers stadium will be available from January on for the next several years.

The Seattle race will be back in 2016.

ESPN The Mag had a great article on the problems with Qualcomm Stadium. Place was a dump. Not as bad as Oakland, though.

Schedule is actually over 500 miles shorter next year. I think some of you forget Feld has a whole fleet of trucks to move, not one per team. If they could reduce cost, they would.

Only 13 weeks consecutive before they get a weekend off. How nice of the promoters.

With Toronto gone is it still an FIM world championship?
Yes. Canada's off for a year. There will likely be more international expansion when the timing is right. (Read better economy.)

I'll have some more on this next week.

Why don't they just try run east straight through with the last round in Vegas. Having that one round with all that extra travel, who cares. I bet the teams would rather not drive back across the country so it's got a small off and on like the west does.

Shit happens, don't worry about it. Go West for 8, East for 8 and then LV. Cheaper means more money the teams can do something with.

Maybe you could even let them sell their own merchandise. That'd be an idea. You know, like other Successful motorsports do.

San Diego is a dump???? Do you pussies need white linen and caviar with your moto? It isn't new but it isn't a dump either. Plus, it is the last stadium in So Cal that you can have a couple of beers and a BBQ before without risking a $150 ticket for having a good time.
