You hit on it Crush. It's the memories, and the fun on whatever bike you had. That's what dirt bikes are about. Not which one you had. My son's first bike was a Yamaha 100 when he was 11. Great bike and great fun.

I had Justin Braytons 03 CR125 from his arenacross days with Tamer. Best bike with amazing suspension.

Though huffy elastomer forks worked better than these atrocious offerings, and, I bored it out and needed a new jug for the next top end, this 89 CR-500 was the most fun moto machine I ever had. Holeshots were guaranteed no matter how slow you gated.

'96 KX 250 - I'd like to think I'd still have it if I hadn't broken myself but I'm sure I would've moved on. So many good times with my bike and buddies.

Yep! Good fun bike, handled amazing, was only a 1/2 foot off the ground mind you, and the engine was fast enough to hold it wide open everywhere Smile

Fuckin ugly tho! haha...

1987 CR125. I had one with a ported cylinder off one of Rick Ryan's bikes that Mitch Payton did that year. Ryan was upfront in the 125 Nationals. .. it was later in the year (87) and this was one of the one's ported for more low end... It was super fun to ride.

It had a JSE ported cylinder on it when I got it... ton's of top end but not as easy to keep on the pipe as the PC cylinder. Good fun!

My old KTM 200 SX from 04, raced it almost 300 hours. So many good memories with that machine.
And the 2010 KTM 450 SXF Nagl Replica, probably the strongest stock bike I have ever had.
