Also a good DeCoster interview as well.

Not only a great interview on DB I thought many of the other articles were good to. The read on Mathes is worth a few minutes. Glad to have found this, thanks.

Ok, you got me. I'm a fan already. Great interviews with Matthes & Bailey. Didn't know RC hated Stewart so much! RC sure doesn't let on when he's commenting on James from the booth at all...

Yep, and from what I hear RC likes JS7's talent.

Now I fully understand he hated him when racing. At this level, if you want to train that hard, you must HATE.

I trully believe you must hate your competition & even yourself to push the limits way beyond what you can initially accomplish.

It would be good to get him back on the air. He doesn't hold back.

I totally understand why RC must've hated JS7 and vice versa when they were competing...I mean it's not the buddy system out there! But why the bad blood between them today? Matthes said "RC HATES Stewart, they hate each other" not "RC HATED Stewart..." like that was then & this is now. Wonder what happened off the track, I wonder?

Wrong Lars, you motocross historians, it's Lars Larson, one of the first Husqvarna salesmen/motocrossers in the US. But I do have a photo of Adolph Weil!

In that David Bailey interview he says when comparing his era to todays era...

But I guess what I see is there are so many injuries now, and such a fear of getting injured that riders don't ride with as much heart or determination or commitment and desire as they used to...

As much as I respect David I have to dissagree. How can he watch guys like Stewart and RV go balls out on weekly basis and question them? How can he watch the Barcia, Peick, Dungey heat race two races back and the ensuing comments from all three riders and question their determination?

I see gutsy moves and desire from a lot of guys every week. Listen to the post race interviews with guys like Wey and Albertson and their frustration over not being better. Look at Tomac destroy his shoulder every time he comes back because he is determined to get on the podium.

A bit of the " uphill in the snow both ways" from DB.
