Whoever thinks the 800 has a chance to win Daytona let alone any SX race needs to seriously set down the crack pipe and go straight to a rehab facility.

RV will get the win and stretch out the points lead while the 800 will finish outside the top 10.

And, duh vanilla, we know RV will win. That's kind of a given.

Where does this Richard Carbunkle come into play? I mean they devoted the whole thing to this guy and he's only number 4? He must not be THAT good right?

I know Mike has made some bonehead moves in his career, but he has always struggled with SX. Its kinda cool to see him actually show some speed, finally. No doubt, Byrner has something to do with that.

I was there at Indy last week, just waiting for the anchor to come out...... but he actually started pulling away from ET.. then the endo. He's really doing well, all things considered. (drama, etc....)

I like all these guys. Big time talent. I know I can't do it.

He had a shot at a podium last week. Winning is a very big long shot as he needs some help with others crashing but he was still pretty quick. He was 6th fasted in qualifying today so he does have a shot at a good finish.

Mikes best was a 1:10 to RV's 1:06 in the first timed session.

He definitely upped his times in the second session and got within .6 sec of Wilson's fastest time in the #1 spot. The entire top 10 is within 1 sec now.

Mikey is a holeshot and some first turn bad luck for the others from his 1st SX win. I want to see what a win does for his head/career. Yes, I like Mike.

He wont win.

But I really hope he does. The guy is wearing his heart on his sleeve. I like his interviews way better than the boring Dungey/RV interviews.

I want to see Allesi get mad and win. Imagine the emotion we will see. Lifelong Dream come true.

No disrespect to your opinion, but back in 1987, a guy named Rick Ryan won the Daytona SX and he was far and away slower than Wardy and RJ at that time than Alessi is from RV and the rest of the front runners. Just something to think about.

I was a huge Ricky Ryan fan. Not to discount his win but wasn't it a mudder? That really changes things quite a bit and lady luck plays a huge part in a race like that. RR was a great guy and great racer.

1987 was a mudder and Keith Bowen was by far and away the fastest guy. I think he led 3 different times during the main, he kept falling down and charging back up front until he eventually got a rock jammed in the countershaft sprocket and DNF'd. Ryan got the win and Bowen never did get a main event win.
