Obviously sometime before "leg swag" was even thought of I was pulling off the one footer cross up, circa '04. Scrolling through some old photos I came across this and realized, "man I wasn't too bad back then", how things change in a matter of 10 years. So my question is can this go down in my moto history as leg swag, and would the moto kids of today respect what this old man once was?

My dad used to yell at me back in 1994 when I would throw some leg swag...I thought it was cool, but he told me it just looks stupid.
Years later I learned to do a proper leg swag on the bike...

Just for fun there Grizz, I'm not being serious about the "leg swag". As a motohead myself, I enjoy seeing how I used to be prior to putting on about 70 pounds and losing all stamina, these days I'm lucky to throw that leg over the bike!

Haha nothing against you, sweet pic. I was just laughing about the leg swag part. I mean, come on kids, be more creative then that!

Now, arm swag, that was cool.

I went and looked at it again, that's terrible, I need to recruit EZZA95B to photoshop that goggle strap in its correct position.

Ha ha! I was "leg swaggin" in 88/89.

1988 Mini-O's supercross finish line tabletop.

1989 Loretta Lynn's mid-field tabletop.

Okay... so it's mini swag, but for some reason, I always kicked that right leg off and crossed the bars.

Its crazy how little 80's have changed. They changed more from 83-89 than 89-now. From that side in your pic, the RM 80's look a lot like that today.

I think on the RM 80, the biggest change was the move away from that stupid flared out radiator shroud. That thing was horrible. We used to hook those heavy duty rubber straps to the holes and then around the bike to fold it in as much as possible and "train" the plastic to stay straight instead of flared out. The ones today are just like what the big bikes have so they don't have that issue. A few other cosmetic things aside, the bikes do look very similar.

Dude I am almost 6'4", about 6" 3 1/2 actually, how freakin tall is Ken Dedycker. Do us tall guys actually look that goony on a bike. And yes, I know Rick Smidts does.

My son does the leg swag crap also, picked it from the neighbor kid that is 7 yrs older. I just let him go, whtever makes him comfortable.

And man am I getting old, mxrider881 posts a pic of 2004 and calls it back in the day. Man from here on out we need to start getting younger, I hate this old shit. I'd post some pics of me back in the day but I think it would be hard to scan stone tablets to digital.
