MxRider881 Added a reply to Fresh RM250 on CL - Washington

I hated to see it leave my garage, but the realization set in pretty quick that at my current physical status of "out of shape" it was way too hard to ride a 2 stroke, don't hate, just being honest.........Wasn't fair to the old bike to have me riding it, she belongs in the skillful hands of a "rippa"!

MxRider881 Started a new thread A few photos from today(No Pro)

As stated, I'm no professional photographer, out of about 85 shots these are the few I could come up with that turned out pretty good. Any way a buddy of mine has access to this track here in central Florida and this was the first time I've had a chance to go, it's amazing what some people are able to...

MxRider881 Added a reply to Bone stock RM 250 FMF vs. Bills pipe

Bills made a really good power range on my '08, from low to top, plus looked really good in my opinion. The works exhaust colors nicely too as you get some heat cycles through it.
Do you get the idea Bisceglia is intimidated by SX at all? He doesn't seem to show the excitement about it that most of these younger guys do, and when he does fall he's in no hurry to get it back up and rolling again. Probably a stupid question, but an observation none the less that I've picked up on...

I was so pumped to see Schmidt qualify right out of the semi, and then to have Meynet and Enticknap qualify out of the LCQ as well. Glad to see guys like Ted Parks put together a program that helps these guys get to the races and recognize their full potential, it makes for some great racing.

My wife and I attended the Daytona SX yesterday for the first time in quite a few years, and I consider myself to be a pretty avid fan of the sport and kind of caught on to this guys enthusiasm last year when I would watch qualifying practice. Every week I rooted for him, and other privateers as well to...

He had a pretty sketchy "wheelie" over that rutted out triple before the whoops in the LCQ, almost a Stewart like wheel tap, the fact that he rode it out and qualified allowed me to label it a wheel tap rather than a mistake. I root for all the underdogs, the thing about Schmidt is that he just never fails...

MxRider881 Started a new thread Leg swag, Yay or Nay?

3/3/2014 3:22pm
Obviously sometime before "leg swag" was even thought of I was pulling off the one footer cross up, circa '04. Scrolling through some old photos I came across this and realized, "man I wasn't too bad back then", how things change in a matter of 10 years. So my question is can this go down in my moto history as...

I went and looked at it again, that's terrible, I need to recruit EZZA95B to photoshop that goggle strap in its correct position.

Just for fun there Grizz, I'm not being serious about the "leg swag". As a motohead myself, I enjoy seeing how I used to be prior to putting on about 70 pounds and losing all stamina, these days I'm lucky to throw that leg over the bike!

MxRider881 Started a new thread 2008 RM250 headset nut

3/2/2014 6:28am
Just a quick question, can anyone tell me the size wrench I'll need to remove this, the biggest I have is a 24mm and it's nowhere close. This is the upper nut on the top triple clamp incase I didn't describe it correctly in the title. Thanks for the help.

MxRider881 Started a new thread New factory backing seat cover on my RM250

2/6/2014 9:12am
Nothing exciting, but I was impressed with the quality of the seat cover, and the "grippyness" of it. I like the color options they give, I wanted to stick with blue and they were the only ones I could find who could do it for me. Anyway, just a good opportunity to show off the bike I guess.
