That sucks! I hope he heals up with plenty of time to be dialed in for outdoors so he is ahead of the other guys.

Definitely disappointing news - he will be missed. For the short time he was out there this year though, he well and truly showed (yet once again) that he still has the magic. Light yrs more memorable (successful) than 2013 imo, even with just 6 races under his belt.

What did you guys expect? He has a broken shoulder and were already 8 rds in.

He's gonna be really good outdoors, but if RV comes out like he did last year it's already over.

Bummer but it is great to know he still has the speed and drive to win. We need him to keep the confidence high so the racing stays interesting. The guy is an animal. I always liked him from his debut but I admit I did not want him to beat RC or James back in the day but when did it was amazing. He would fight for the win and has beat all the best straight up quite a bit over the years and is a true great of the sport. I hope he wins a bunch more and his team remains after he has retired from racing .

Good point. Chad really didn't have a prayer of going 20 laps and all I saw was downside to him racing. My hope is he didn't make the situation worse given there is only a little over 3 months to GH.
