MXGP VIdeo Gameplay

Wow. This game looks really good.

I hope the Track degradation is as gnarly as it was on reflex. Combined with the ability to play with suspension settings and this game would be the best ever.

Real bikes
Real riders (including legends)
Real tracks (including legendary tracks from past eras)
Good physics
Scrubbing
Dual stick control
Proper button layout
Suspension adjusting
Insane track degradation
40 man gates
Weather
a tear off button
No quads

Thats ur perfect game right there. I'm not asking too much am I?

This looks like an awesome start. MXGP is gonna put MvA out of its misery.

What consoles will this be available for?

Here is a long video of the game, some italian guy did a test of it. Sorry i dont speak a word of italian so i have no idea what are his thoughts about the game, but the video is long enough for you to get your own idea of the gameplay

For me it looks a little boring, exactly like the gps in real.. No the game seems fun, close to reality and more simulation than arcade.. Cant wait to try it out but it probably will never be as good as reflex..

The game looks sick! Pretty legit looking if I must say. I cant wait to be able to play it here in America. I like the tracks, bikes, its seems very authentic. STOKED! We need a game like this for SX and American MX.

I had an opportunity to test the game earlier today, and took a video of the Si Racha (Thailand) circuit that has not been seen before. Honestly, this game is awesome. It may not look it in the video, but it is better than Alive, and the career is the best that we have ever seen in an MX game.

It just misses some big jumps, they look too small the guy almost over jump them all..

I think overall its gonna be a good game though

I managed to stumble across something on one of the two live streaming sites where they spoke about the game a little bit. From what the translator could tell me, as I don't speak a lick of anything not English, you'll be able to change between different physics and also have control of front and rear brakes. Should be a pretty rad game form the looks of things.

I hope they find a way to offer DLC with "replicas" of the American MX and SX tracks. How sick would that be? Just change the names of the tracks (Denver instead of Lakewood, Tacoma instead of Seattle ETC) to avoid getting complaints about it having the US content.

I still don't understand bringing out a new game that is not made for the new consoles.

It's looks awesome. No doubt I will be buying it the day it gets released.

One suggestion/request; add an option to pick your own gear, bike, and number.

I'll be writing a review with full details on stuff like that later in the week. But, in career mode, you do make your own rider. You then start off as a privateer wildcard at one round, and if you do well enough you get picked up by a team to do the full season.

Wow thanks for that OC.

I really like it and it has come a long way from the first videos we watched.

If anything, this puts pressure on the american developers to do as good or better than this game with the MX vs ATV franchise. The features of this game like the career mode will make it a game you can play for a while.

Just getting it here in the US is going to be a pain.

I dont know if we are looking at the same game , but this is just horrible.Terrain deformation is just cosmetic ,physics seem not to give a fuck , if its running on flat ground or rough one ,Whips look forced , you can land on people, bump into them.......

And for the record, Milestone last good game was SBK 2001, after that everything was garbage.A physics engine that works like (If rider does that------>>> make physics do that).

Do you guys really like unrealistic, generic games that keep you interrested for couple hours?Judging by comments like:
Moar bigger jumpz, moar top end , moar shims....

Doing a mediocore whip in MXS takes more skill and is more rewarding than beating all the lastest mx games....

And no , I dont want to compare it to MXS , I want a arcade/sim mix game that easy to play yet hard to master and looks
realistic.

And for the record , no body gives a fuck about graphics , except retards and 12 year olds.

I don't like the way riders drift around in the corners.

It would be great if you could choose a rut to slot the bike into and then it tracks you around the corner almost automatically. Get the right entry speed and you corner faster, maybe even get a little burst of speed on the exit, but the faster you try and push it the more chance there is of skipping out or over of the rut and losing time.

The rider sliding around the corners isn't as bad when you're playing it as it looks in the video, trust me. Actually, it is quite a good, technical feature.

That does look pretty awesome. The only thing that appears to be missing from the videos is the extreme low scrubs that are possible in reflex.

Aside from that, it looks tits. I'm pumped and hoping for a steam release.

Looks very slow and bike floats way too much in the air. Fix those things and it would be ok. Reflex looks much better still IMO.

Game looks good to me. It looks like like selection and momentum are key. My gripe and I hope it was a early stage deal. One of the videos had both 450 and 250 races. The 450 sounded fine, but the 250 sounded terrible! I can't figure out why it is so hard to have the bikes sound real. 250fs are high revving raspy bikes.

Haha Dennis, I moved up to Oregon at the end of 2011. Vegas just wasn't working out anymore, and now the whole family outside of an Aunt are out of that place. As far as what I'm doing, I work at a car dealership selling parts and started training 2 months ago to take another go at Offroad.
