The MCR videos are like mock press conferences. I get what you're saying but it's just kind a little different for the team basically to be asking the team rider questions. I know they are trying to get Mike's thoughts, opinions, how the race went, etc out to the public. But I said staged because it's like a press conference where the reporter and the person being questioned are on the same team and they've already had the questions and answers mapped out and rehearsed.
That being said, Mike did look pretty good in the main before he crashed. I used to really dislike Mike and I won't say I'm a huge fan now, but he's grown on me in the last year or two. But things like the dungey handshake at washougal, the crying after heat race, and just exaggerating things (I came from 15th to 2nd before my crash, when really it was closer to 10th to 5th) Those things take away from his racing. If he just kept his head down, raced, and got rid of his dad, I think he'd be more successful,
But that's just my opinion, and I'm sure Genova and Alessi don't really give a shit what one dude on an internet forum thinks.
When _______ _______(insert rider name) is "interviewed" who does the interviewing?
Taft, Bates, Dalhgren, Emig, KDUB, RC, Matthes etc etc
Usually it is not by someone whose identity is a mystery to "us", which coincidentally happens
to be intimately associated with the team.
They could simply title it "Alessi A3 Post Race Discussion".
To me this is part of the crux of Team Alessi, no different than listing their bike as an MCR450!
Now, far be it for me to tell anyone how to run their program. I'm just stating that it comes off as feeling
"fake and staged". To me, and others as well. Which, once the perception is that, it makes little difference
if it actually is or not.

For example (mike in trailer ).... PS this is just for fun.......they put it out there, so they have to accept the comments.
. " Hey Guys this is Mike... wow...had a crazy A3...I guess whiskey throttled it in the whoops and almost killed myself..luckily james turned down, I mean stayed in his line and prevented me from sailing over the berm into the stands, but I showed him a wheel and almost made that pass stick one handed..... My brakes broke in the main, but I want to thank Galiper for the great work they did in the Heat "
And the girl in the video is Mike Genova's daughter. He's the MCR team owner. When his daughter doesn't do the interview, I believe it's Mike's wife Danielle that takes over that duty. Usually you hear reporters asking the tough questions, but when both people are on the exact same team, or married even, things should go pretty smooth.

I am sure this was their objective (sarcasm).. " hey lets add to our catalog of being the laughing stock of the races and make a interview that gets ridiculed all day long"...,......They are clearly aiming for the "newcomer" race fans who dont know any better....
In all honesty, its always good to get rider input or comments....everyone has their own way of going about it... some do it better than others and some look silly.....
No, he ain't just another fighter! This guy is a wrecking machine!
some of you guys just need to shut the fuck up and appreciate that Mike is out there giving it his all and then at the end of the day (which didn't end well for him i may add) has the decency to put a video online for his fans to get an update.
EAD haters
Seriously though.. I think most of us are poking fun at the AMATEURISHNESS of the interview and, well... Mikes delusion of the incident.
Most professional people, if they ever saw these comments, would want to try an avoid getting them again and might want to improve their product and not be laughed at...right?
