Dirtshark just posted this up. Looks just like Alive to me
The bike in that vid looks like it is on the perfect trajectory to hit the down ramp put of the section then just drops suddenly into the face of the last jump.
Also talk about track scale in Alive being better? that looked like a giant on a mini bike with the track still looking way to small.
and seriously who mono's through whoops like that! The skimming of the whoops in Reflex was ten times better.

Sucks that i will still buy it though! My dreams of a updated Reflex have been shattered lol
In my opinion of course, I could be wrong.
Hopefully the guys at Nordic games follow all of the comments that are being posted not just hear but across the board.
Someone posted the Reflex outsold Alive, I have no idea if this is true or not, but if so that should be the first indicator of which of the two games the new one should be more based around.
Reflex launched forward by MILES with track deformation, making every race different, not to mention the best gameplay and physics to be seen(weighing outside peg etc) and carrying speed after landing from a high speed jump. I'll buy this new game but Reflex will standalone as the best MX game until its characteristics are brought back
In my opinion, the JS7 stuff in Alive is far and away superior to anything in Reflex. With that being said, I don't like any other tracks in Alive. The rest of the tracks pretty much are stinkers including the small arenacross type SX tracks.
I am hoping for something far superior to BOTH games. With a full season points series with heats, lcqs and 20 lap mains in the season mode and 17 SX tracks. Alive nor Reflex had neither and that is a huge downfall to those games.
I'm not a MVA fanboy. I have probably been more critical than anyone of the series over the years with their lack of points series, lack of license, lack of realistic scale (until Alive), flaoty physics, etc. However I have communicated with a head person at Nordic for quite a while now as well as someone at the new studio and think this series is in good hands now for us, the Supercross fans. The JS7 is the benchmark.
I can't wait for Supercross and for MXGP, which with its replica tracks, license and points series looks amazing. Super excited for both.
reflex physics to this day are far superior and everyone knows it. I'm guessin the new guys will try to get back to it otherwise this franchise is doomed.
mx sim is still far superior but its not user friendly...but once you get it figured out, even reflex can't touch it no matter how well they develop it.
Pit Row
Nordic could quite easily get everyone who purchased Alive in their good books well before the new game comes out very simply.
Make any tracks that were created as DLC for Alive that never seen the day of light available for free ASAP.
They might be good they may suck, but it will give people a chance to fire up the MX V ATV franchise game again on their PS3's and Xbox's and get people back thinking about and playing the game.
This new game is obv. working off of the alive platform, open up the Depot and supply some SX tracks that should've been out before.
I will be sticking with mx sim.
I hope that was old footage, though.... I Really do.
One thing interesting that I learned about Nordic Games is that they like porting them to all platforms, including Mac and PC.
people with really high desires for what their first release are going to be really disappointed. They're not rebuilding a game from the ground up- and it's being made at DLC level scale. tank all this 17 rounds, plus nationals and a career mode stuff. i'm expecting very little but i'll be getting it because i'm diehard for mx games. even if they aren't that good i'll get more time out of them than the newest COD incarnation.

Up on the home page now, sounds like Nordic are going about things perfectly. Releasing essentially a Supercross track pack for Alive for now but are working on a brand new game for the series for release around 2015.
The game will look at taking all the best parts from all the original games in the series and bring the flow back.
Sounds Good to me.
but if they let us add user create content. It my make some dent in mxs and mcm2 user base
